This paper discusses the influence of Li Bai's beliefs, thoughts and personality on the poetic style.

Judging from Li Bai's beliefs and thoughts, Taoist belief in immortals occupies an important position in his thoughts. He is a Taoist priest and an alchemist, full of illusions about the realm of immortals. When his official career was frustrated, he went further to Taoism, because Taoism and Taoist beliefs gave him the ability to get rid of it. Therefore, among his nearly 1000 poems, more than 100 are related to immortal Taoism, which gave birth to the peculiar characteristics and elegant style of his poems. It also shows his poetic style of living like a dream, needing to eat, drink and be merry in time, and his desire for freedom when he blends into nature. The immortal Taoist thought endowed him with a strange imagination, and the connection between various imaginations and images was very long, strange and trance, and varied vertically and horizontally.

However, the core of Li Bai's thought is Confucianism. He fantasized about "making friends with vassals" and "conquering the world", and longed to make immortal contributions like Lv Wang, Fu Shuo and Li Shiqi. Therefore, his poetic style has always been characterized by conceit, self-confidence, openness and high spirits. He brought the enterprising spirit of the scholars in the prosperous Tang Dynasty into an idealized realm.

Judging from Li Bai's personality, he yearns for a carefree life, with a proud and uninhibited personality and elegant and free-spirited temperament. This high-spirited spirit in the prosperous Tang Dynasty made his poetic style show the characteristics of elegance and romance.

Li Bai's career was bumpy all his life, but the more frustrated he became, the more courageous he became, and his ambition to make contributions was unshakable. His positive and high-spirited personality is often suppressed, resulting in a surge of emotions, like a raging and overflowing volcano, filled with indignation and impassioned.

I am a student of Chinese Department, and I am still studying ancient literature. My answer is not very good. If I think it is feasible, please refer to.
