Reading "Youth in Fresh Clothes: Poetry and Wine of Tang and Song Poets"

This week, I began to read the book "Young Men in Fresh Clothes: Poets' Poetry and Wine Rivers and Lakes in Tang and Song Dynasties". The author Numa is a die-hard fan of Tang poetry and Song poetry.

This book is a poetic novel. Luo, Du Fu, Gao Shi, Wang Wei, Meng Haoran, Wen, Li Qingzhao, Xin Qiji, Liu Yuxi, Su Shi ... Thirty poets in Tang and Song Dynasties are all living individuals here. The author integrates history with poetry and introduces the origin of famous poems in the historical environment.

I have just read the chapter "Playwright Yang Guang". I only knew that Yang Guang was not a good emperor before, but I didn't know that he was actually a good poet. At least in his time, his poems were a clean stream of all "palace poems".

He wrote "Wang Ye", "West Western jackdaw flies in a few minutes, and the water flows around the lonely village. When the sun was about to set, the dark look disappeared, which inspired Qin Guan and Ma Zhiyuan in later generations. Qin Guan's "Outside the setting sun, there are ten thousand points in west Western jackdaw, and the water flows around the lonely village", and Ma Zhiyuan's "Old vines faint crows, small bridges flowing with water, old roads thin horses. When the sun sets, heartbroken people are at the end of the world. " Such poems are all from Yang Guang's poems.

A book worth reading for leisure, parents and children.
