Seven steps to learn poetry in primary schools

Step 1: Take precautions and seize opportunities.

The so-called "prepare for a rainy day and take the initiative to attack" means that students should be fully prepared before learning poetry.

Step 2: Read this poem a hundred times to see its meaning.

Of course, learning poetry begins with reading, so we should pay attention to this link. As the saying goes, "Poetry can be memorized even if it can't be written", and "Three-point Poetry and Seven-point Poetry" shows that reading is an important aspect of cultivating sensibility.

Step 3: Read and ask questions step by step.

It is true that reading more plays an important role, but if we give some guidance in the process of reading, I believe the effect of reading will be much better.

The fourth step is to learn from the infiltration.

There is no fixed method for learning, but it is important to have a method. As long as you master the method of learning ancient poetry, you can achieve the ideal state of autonomy.

The fifth step is to change the genre imagination.

The language of ancient poetry is very concise and can be said to be the best writing. Give full play to the imagination, change the genre of ancient poetry, and string the things described in poetry into beautiful prose with the language of prose. Through the experience of the changed prose and the comparison with the original poem, the characteristics of poetic language are explained.

Step 6: Hand painting is fun.

As the saying goes, "picturesque" is true. "Moonlight in the pine forest, crystal stone in the stream" is so quiet and imaginative! Poetic and picturesque, all in it.

Step 7: Competition. Everybody loves it.

Now most students have the desire to show their love, and they strongly need others' praise and affirmation of their abilities. It is really important to create a healthy competitive environment for students. In poetry teaching, we can meet their needs and stimulate their fighting spirit. Generally speaking, ancient poems are short and pithy, catchy and easy to recite, so I will hold reading competitions, recitation competitions, dictation competitions and other competitions according to the characteristics of ancient poems. These competitions can be attended by individuals, groups, men and women. It can be said that the students' enthusiasm is very high, and several poems are memorized in the blink of an eye. The students had a good time, and the teaching goal of reciting was easy to accomplish, and the effect was satisfactory.
