Duan Ju is a poem written by Li Shangyin, a poet in Tang Dynasty, when he was in a foreign land. The four sentences in the poem express the author's yearning for his relatives in his hometown. In the first two sentences, the poet has a dream of going home because he can't get a letter from home, and he feels lonely and cold after waking up in the middle of the night; With the help of the descriptions of moss, mangroves, rain and the moon, the last two sentences create a cold atmosphere and express sadness, loneliness and homesickness. This poem is lyrical and beautiful, with neat meter and a kind of circulating beauty.
