Read the whole book
* * * Reading materials: Chapters 5 and 6 of Niels' Goose Riding Journey.
* * * Reading direction: By reading the familiar story at home and discussing the topic in class, everyone is encouraged to express their views and attitudes on the topic boldly according to the story content.
Topic discussion:
1. Who is the special guest of the Crane Dance Conference? Where does the article reflect the particularity of this guest?
Some people say it's a gray mouse, some people say it's a black mouse, and some people say it's Niels. Who is it under constant controversy? Let's use stories to illustrate. Please use the fragments in the book to prove your point. Soon, after careful and repeated reading, two paragraphs in the article clearly tell readers that Niels is the special guest. Why is it special? In the second paragraph of the fifth chapter, the author deliberately wrote that human beings have never been invited to attend the crane dance conference, and the description of this paragraph is only to highlight the particularity of Niels as a human being attending the crane dance conference.
2. Why did you invite Niels?
The children summed up this topic well, and the core description of the whole story has always revolved around this point: because he saved the Jammings building and helped the animals escape the attack of the squirrel army.
Niels is a thumb boy, about the size of a mouse. How does he help animals?
Children have their own views on this topic, some are read according to the content in the article, some are expressed in their own language according to their own reading, and some are enriched on the basis of others. In a word, everyone has his own attitude and opinion, which is good.
The bright spot flashes:
This time, * * * discussed the topic and encouraged everyone to actively ask questions and refute. The purpose is to let children * * * read a book with their own thinking, so as to avoid following others' advice. In the discussion of several topics, everyone seriously thought, carefully consulted books, and boldly expressed doubts about different views. At this point, the smile is the first breakthrough. When he hears something that is different from his own ideas or does not conform to the text, he will boldly stand up and say, "I don't agree with what he said, but I think so ..." Children will start to think with different voices. Who is right? I encourage you to use the words of the story as a basis to prove your ideas. In this way, children have a new understanding of the story and a new dimension of thinking. With our encouragement, any idea is worthy of respect and can be actively expressed, and then we can think together and confirm together.
I hope that in repeated reading, more and more children have independent ideas or dare to question and be more active!
Fallen leaves in children's poetry series
Through two imitations and creations of children's poems, children are serious about the creation of children's poems. They are full of creativity and very clever in capturing life. In this lesson, we will try to write a theme children's poem independently.
What should be the theme of this children's poem? Of course, it is to choose common things in children's lives, so that everyone has the same experience and has their own different ideas, so the creation must be different. Let's see, looking at the colder and colder weather and the leaves falling with the wind … I have a wonderful concern.
Yes, fallen leaves! In our community, on the road, on the roadside, on campus, there are fallen leaves everywhere. They are different in color, shape and size, just like the protagonists full of rich life stories. Where did it come from? Where are you going? Who will you meet? What special story happened? These huge gaps are really full of infinite imagination!
Yes, I collected a handful of all kinds of leaves (I wanted the children to collect them on the way to the classroom, but I had to do so for safety. But it will be better if children can pick up the leaves themselves. Then we played a brainstorming game.
First, I only took out a leaf. Guess: Who is this leaf? What does it look like? Where did it come from? Where are you going? Who will you meet? What happened? (Of course, these questions are all asked one by one, guessed one by one, and then asked related questions. Don't throw it all away at once, otherwise it will blind the children and is not conducive to cultivating the continuity of their thinking. )
I really want to applaud the affirmation and encouragement of children after gossiping. Behind a leaf, so many stories can be circulated. The children's imagination really surprises me!
Then, I put out more leaves and let the children choose a leaf friend by themselves. We carefully selected, carefully observed, and constantly communicated with our deskmates, hoping to see more fallen leaves. With previous experience, when children choose leaves, they seem to be thinking all the time, which leaf is what they want most, which is the one that best suits their imagination. Sure enough, this was confirmed in the later creation of children's poems.
Finally, I ask every child to think about the first few questions before telling the story of this fallen leaf in his hand. The form of oral stories makes children particularly relaxed, and all of a sudden, everyone's stories are born. In this session, everyone tells his own story, and then we discuss how to simplify some sentences with the language of "poetry". When changing from a story to a poem, it is very important to choose which keywords are the core of the story. Although we spent a lot of time, each of us not only told our own stories and learned to write our own children's poems, but also thought about the difference between "stories" and "children's poems", because repeated discussions laid a solid foundation for us to write free children's poems in the later period.
After the children finished their oral creation, I imagined a story and a children's song to share with the children, just like everyone else. I hope they know that we are a collective that keeps learning and growing together. They are creating, and I am just like them.
I finally started writing, a little uneasy. After all, children's poems nowadays have no templates and examples for them to copy. When can children get up the courage to write down their true feelings? But in spite of this, I still choose to let go. I choose to trust these little dolls. I believe they will be able to finish this nursery rhyme independently.
Facts have proved that my worries are unnecessary. When the children's poems were just read to me, I gave some advice. The children actively went back to read aloud and revise them. Yang Yang's classmates forgot the format of the poem, and the two sentences at the beginning of the poem were connected to write a natural paragraph. I reminded them that this form needed to be adjusted. Although he shouted, "Oh, that's not to erase the handwriting again!" " "But after that, he came to me seriously and asked for another piece of paper, and simply copied it neatly from scratch. I watched Yang Yang's behavior and his earnest copying, and my heart was filled with infinite regrets! This is either a little doll who used to cry in class, or she doesn't write in class! Every child has gone through the process of revision, and everyone has patiently watched, revised and adjusted. My child has really grown up!
The children's works are really wonderful and thoughtful. The following are the best works in this class, in no particular order! After reading it several times, I feel sorry for myself. Compared with these natural poets, our imagination is really a bit barren!
Look and tell you, in fact, many children have more than one story, and the fairy tale brought by a fallen leaf can continue! Why don't you play solitaire with fallen leaves this weekend?
Life is full of reading and wisdom.
Let's nourish children's childhood with high-quality reading.
