Yang Shiqi, Yang Rong and Yang Pu, the representatives of Taige School, were all important ministers of Taige in Ming Dynasty, and they made great achievements in politics and literature.
Among them, Yang Shiqi is one of the founders of Tiger style. His poems are famous for their freshness, naturalness, elegance and gracefulness, and are known as "western poplars". Yang Rong is also one of the representatives of Tiger style. His poems are famous for their boldness and grandeur, and are known as "Oriental Poplar". Yang Pu is the last representative figure of the Taige style. His poems are famous for their quietness, profundity, introversion and reserve, and are known as "Southern Yang".
