Doctor of Philosophy, graduated from Chinese Department of Hong Kong University. He is currently a professor at Hong Kong Baptist University and vice chairman of Guangzhou Writers Association. He is the author of novels Yan Shi Ji, North Kite, Suzaku, collections of novels Wamao, ask m, Seven Sounds, Mystery Crow, Raccoon, Year of Play, and cultural essay Painting Colors.
The first collection of essays was published in August 20 16, and Suzaku and Kite were published in June 10. 202 1 12 was elected as a member of the 10th National Committee of Chinese Writers Association. He has won the 2008 Hong Kong Art Development Award, the first Hong Kong Book Award, the first prize of Taiwan Province Joint Literature and Novel Award, and the Taiwan Province Liang Shiqiu Literature Award.
