What are Mulan poems and Mulan poems?

Mulan poems and Mulan poems have the same meaning, they both refer to the same poem, so Mulan poems are also called Mulan poems. Mulan Poetry is a folk song from the Northern Dynasties. It is called "Mulan Poetry" because it is the lyrics of this folk song. However, the folk songs of the Southern and Northern Dynasties belong to the Yuefu poetry system and are poetry in a broad category. Therefore, it can also be called "Mulan Poetry".

Excerpts from the original text of "Poetry of Mulan":

The chirping repeats the chirping, Mulan is weaved in every household. I didn't hear the sound of the crowbar, but I heard the woman sighing. Ask her what she is thinking about, and ask her what she is remembering. The woman has nothing to think about, and the woman has nothing to remember. I saw the military post last night and the Khan ordered more troops. There are twelve volumes of military books, each with his name on it. My grandfather has no eldest son, and Mulan has no eldest brother. I am willing to be a saddle horse for the city, and from now on I will fight for my father.

You can buy horses in the east market, saddles and shackles in the west market, bridles in the south market, and long whips in the north market. I bid farewell to my parents at dawn and stayed by the Yellow River in the evening. I don’t hear the mother-in-law’s voice calling the girl, but I hear the sound of the Yellow River water splashing. Leave the Yellow River at dawn and reach the top of Black Mountain at dusk. I don’t hear my mother-in-law’s voice calling her, but I hear Hu Qiming tweeting from Yanshan Mountain.

Vernacular translation:

Sighs came one after another as Mulan weaved toward the door. The sound of the loom weaving could not be heard, only Mulan's sigh was heard. Ask Mulan what she is thinking about? Ask Mulan what she is thinking about? (Mulan replied) I'm not thinking about anything or worrying about anything. I saw the recruitment documents last night and knew that the monarch was recruiting troops on a large scale. There were so many volumes of recruitment documents, and my father's name was on each volume.

My father had no eldest son, and Mulan (me) had no brother. Mulan was willing to go to the market to buy saddles and horses, so she began to fight in her father's place. Shop for horse gear throughout the market.

I left my parents the next morning and camped by the Yellow River that night. I couldn't hear the parents calling for their daughter, but could only hear the sound of water flowing in the Yellow River. The next morning, I left the Yellow River and hit the road. At night, I arrived at the top of Black Mountain. I couldn't hear the parents calling for their daughter. I could only hear the chirping of the horses of the Hu soldiers in Yanshan.

There are different opinions on the era when "Mulan Poems" was produced, but according to it, it was first recorded in "Ancient and Modern Music" written by Chen Shizhijiang. "Records", it can be proved that the era of its emergence is no later than Chen. The emperor is called "Khan" in the poem, and the battle locations are all in the north, so the place where they were born is in the Northern Dynasties. In the poem, there are lines such as "I bid farewell to the Yellow River in the morning and arrived at the top of the Black Mountain in the evening" and "I heard the chirping of horseback riding horses in Yanshan Mountain".

Heishan is Shahu Mountain, southeast of present-day Hohhot City in Inner Mongolia, not far from the Yellow River. Yanshan refers to Yanran Mountain, which is now the Mongolian People's Government and the Hangai Mountain. According to this, the war in "Mulan Poetry" should have occurred between the Northern Wei Dynasty and Rouran.

Rouran is a large nomadic country in the north. During the 158 years since its founding, Rouran had many wars with the Northern Wei Dynasty, the Eastern Wei Dynasty and the Northern Qi Dynasty. The most important battlefields are the Black Mountain and Yanran Mountain areas. In 429, Emperor Taiwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty made his northern expedition to Rouran. He "drove out of the East Road and headed for the Black Mountains" and "passed the Yanran Mountains in the north, three thousand miles from north to south."

This poem is included in the "Yuefu Poetry Collection" in " In the "Hengbiao Song Ci: Lianggujiao Hengbiao Song", it was widely recited in the Tang Dynasty. Wei Yuanfu, a Tang Dynasty man, drafted "Mulan Song", which can be proved. Therefore, most scholars believe that the folk song "Mulan Poetry" was produced in the late Northern Dynasties.
