What does suffering have to do with poetry?

After reading Snow Falls on the Land of China, this paper analyzes how the poem describes the sufferings brought by the war of aggression to the people of China from the aspects of image and expression.

A: (1) It is endless and sad to use natural images such as snow and ice to render the atmosphere.

(2) Select several people as the description objects to highlight the importance of national suffering: the homeless northern farmer, the unkempt young woman who lost her family and husband, the elderly mother, and the settlers who lost their livestock and fields.

(3) Use symbols, metaphors, repeated chanting, narration and description.
