1. "Sending Du Shaofu to Shuzhou"
[Tang Dynasty] Wang Bo
The city gate assists the Three Qin Dynasties, and the wind and smoke look out to Wujin.
I want to say goodbye to you, both are eunuchs.
There are close friends in the sea, and they are like neighbors in the world.
If you do nothing, you will be on the wrong road, and your children will be stained with towels.
Translation
The majestic Chang'an occupies the land of the Three Qin Dynasties; the insignificant Sichuan is far away. You and I have similar fates, running for official careers and far away from home.
As long as you have close friends, the world will never feel far away. Even though we are far away from each other, we feel like we are close neighbors. Breaking up on the road, there is really no need for children to love each other and shed tears on their clothes.
2. "The Song of the Wandering Son"
[Tang Dynasty] Meng Jiao
The thread in the hands of the loving mother, the clothes on the body of the wandering boy.
Before leaving, I am worried that I will return later.
Whoever speaks an inch of grass will be rewarded with three rays of spring.
Translation
The loving mother used the needle and thread in her hands to make clothes for her son who was traveling far away.
Before leaving, I sewed stitch by stitch, fearing that my son’s clothes would be damaged if he came back late.
Who dares to say that children with filial piety as weak as Xiaocao can repay the kindness of Chunhui Puze?
3. "Recalling Qin E·The sound of the flute swallows"
[Tang Dynasty] Li Bai
The sound of the flute swallows, Qin E's dream breaks the moon in the Qin Tower. Qin Lou is full of moon, willows are colored every year, and Baling is sad to say goodbye.
On the Qingqiu Festival in Yuyuan, the sound of the Xianyang ancient road is excruciating. The sound is gone, the west wind is lingering, and the Han family mausoleum is still there.
Translation
The sound of the jade flute was sad and whimpering. When Qin E woke up from her dream, a bright moon was hanging upstairs in the Qin family. The waning moon above Qin's house, and the green willow color beside the bridge every year, are all imprinted with the sad farewell on Baling Bridge.
Looking at the desolate autumn festival in Leyouyuan, the news on the ancient road leading to Xianyang has long been cut off. The west wind blows the light of the setting sun, and in front of you are only the tombs and palaces left by the Han Dynasty.
4. "Spring Tour to Sidi Township"
[Tang Dynasty] Wei Zhuang
On a spring tour, apricot blossoms blow all over your head.
Which family on the road is young and romantic?
I plan to marry and stay away for the rest of my life.
Even if you are ruthlessly abandoned, you cannot be ashamed.
Translation
On a spring trip, apricot blossoms fill your head. Tian asked whose young man was so charming on the street?
If I can marry her, I will die till my death, and I will not be ashamed even if I am ruthlessly abandoned.
5. "Sending People to Lingnan"
[Tang Dynasty] Dai Shulun
After a long journey of thousands of miles away from Huayang, the scenery near the south has never been autumn.
The road is covered with red and green bamboo shoots, but it is quiet even if there are chirping apes.
Translation
I left my hometown to travel thousands of miles when I was young. The scenery in Lingnan was still lush and vibrant in late autumn. There are green bamboos and red flowers on both sides of the road. Even if the apes roar, it will feel quiet.
6. "Leyouyuan"
[Tang Dynasty] Li Shangyin
Thousands of trees are singing, cicadas are singing across the rainbow, and there is a west wind on Leyouyuan.
Xihe took advantage of Yuquan to stay, not letting go of the setting sun and heading eastward.
Translation
Cicadas are chirping on thousands of trees, frightening the rainbow across the river, and there are bursts of west wind in Leyouyuan.
Xi He drove the sun chariot and did not stop to rest until dusk. He refused to let the sunset end and turn eastward.
7. "An old trip to Guangling on the Tonglu River"
[Tang Dynasty] Meng Haoran
The mountains are dim and the ape is sad, and the Cangjiang River flows rapidly at night.
The wind rustled the leaves on both sides of the bank, and the moon shone on a lonely boat.
Jiande is not my homeland, but we should reminisce about old travels.
I will also send two lines of tears to the west of the sea.
Translation
The dark mountains and the sound of apes make people sad, and the vast Tongjiang River flows eastward day and night.
The wind blows on the trees on both sides of the river, and the branches and leaves rustle, and the moonlight shines like water on a lonely boat on the river bank.
Although Jiande has beautiful scenery, it is not my hometown. I still miss my old friends in Yangzhou.
I couldn’t hold back my tears as I recalled each other and missed each other. I looked across the sea to the west and sent my sorrow to Yangzhou.
8. "Huanxisha·Wandering deep in dreams through flowers,"
[Song Dynasty] Wu Wenying
Wandering in deep dreams, separated by flowers. The sunset is speechless and the swallows are sad. The jade fiber fragrant moves the small curtain hook.
The catkins fall silently and shed tears in spring, and the moving clouds have shadows and the moon is shy. The east wind comes at night and is colder than autumn.
Translation
My dream soul always wanders in old dreams. In the dream, I came to the courtyard again, and the deep flowers covered the courtyard door. The setting sun gradually sank to the west silently, and the returning swallows were also silent, as if carrying all kinds of sorrow. A faint fragrance floated, and her fragrant white fingers gently opened the small curtain.
The long catkins fall silently, which are the tears shed by God for the separation of life and death in this world. The moonlight was gently covered by the floating clouds, which blocked the tears because of shyness. The cool spring breeze blew on the face, and the desolate and deserted momentum was just like autumn.
9. "Back Tour"
[Tang Dynasty] Du Fu
The temple recalls the new place of travel, and the bridge is crossed again.
If the country is waiting for you, the flowers and willows will be even more selfless.
The smoke in the wild is thin, and the sun shines late in the sand.
The guest worries are all reduced, what else can I do without this?
Translation
I remembered the Xiujue Temple and the bridge I had visited before, and I felt more love for the bridge and the temple this time I visited again.
The beautiful country seems to be waiting for me there; the flowers are blooming with smiles, and the willows are twisting their waists, selflessly devoting everything, welcoming me to come again.
The morning light, as thin as a gauze, moistens the earth, and the wilderness seems to be soaked in butter; in the evening, the afterglow lingering on the earth lingers, and the sandy ground sparkles.
After seeing such a beautiful scenery, the sadness of being a guest has completely disappeared. Where else should I go besides here?
10. "Traveling and Hunting"
[Tang Dynasty] Li Bai
A child from the border town did not read a word of books during his lifetime, but he knew how to travel and hunt. Lightly.
Horse horses are fat and suitable for white grass in autumn, how can they be arrogant when they ride on them to steal the shadows? The golden whip whipped the clouds and waved its scabbard, and the half-hearted eagle came out of the suburbs. The bow is bent and the full moon is not empty, the two crotches are flying and flying.
Onlookers on the seaside are all looking forward to it, and the fierce wind shakes the sand moraine. Confucian scholars are not as good as knight-errants.
What's the use of hanging up the curtain?
Translation
Look at these men who grew up on the border. They have never known the word "big" in their whole life, but they only know how to ride horses and hunt, and they all praise their lightness.
The autumn wind blows and the pastures are white. It is the season when the horses are fattening and the cattle are growing strong. Pegasus chases the shadows. How complacent the rider on the horse is!
After drinking and eating, he set up his falcon and went hunting in the outer suburbs. When he waved his white jade riding whip inlaid with gold, it was like snowflakes flying, and the sound of dysprosium was whistling.
He can bend the bow like the full moon, there is no missing arrow in the arrow, and one arrow can pierce the sky and drop two owls.
The onlookers on the grassland involuntarily stepped back for fear of being injured by the arrow wind. The entire desert was shrouded in shock by the rider's heroic spirit.
How can a Confucian scholar compare to a knight-errant? What's the use even if he studies hard and becomes old!
