Heilongtan Scenic Area is located in Liu Yang Township, Qingshui Town, west of Renshou County16km, 68km away from Chengdu.
Black Dragon Pool is an artificial lake with a circumference of 160 km, a length of 32 km from north to south, a water surface of 23 square kilometers and a storage capacity of 3.6 billion cubic meters. Black Dragon Beach has a wide lake with 72 islands with winding coasts and trees. There are 10 scenic spots with their own characteristics in the scenic spot: Dam, Three Bay, Penglai Island, Qinglongzui Botanical Garden, Longyan Cliff Sculpture, Chenggu Mountain, Seven Stars Shining on the Moon, Bayi Islands, Hanjiaba, Baiguoba and Shuang Yanzi.
Taiyiba in the northern part of the lake area is a gathering place of cultural relics, including dragon teeth, sitting on Buddha, and carving tablets in the Tang Dynasty. The stone dragon carved on the cliff is about 10 meter long, with sparkling scales and jumping on the cliff; When the lake rises, the dragons are slightly immersed in the blue waves, and most of them jump into the lake, just like playing in the water, which is spectacular. On both sides of a niche near Longya, the stone walls are smooth and clean, without a trace. If you water them, vigorous bamboo branches and drizzling bamboo leaves will gradually appear. This miracle is called "splashing water to show bamboo". It is said that Wen Tong, a master of bamboo painting in the Northern Song Dynasty, made it when Renshou was an official. As for why "splashing water" can "show bamboo", it is an unsolved mystery. Surrounded by lush trees, the four seasons are charming and fresh, and there are hundreds of birds such as wild ducks, egrets, cranes and swans living in the lake.
