If you ask him about the aesthetic significance of his detachment, you might as well quote a poem to illustrate it. In the sixth year of Jiayou, when Su Shi first arrived in Fengxiang, he went to the Confucius Temple to worship the saints. He saw the famous stone drum for the first time, wrote 60 sentences of "Stone Drum Poetry", and finally sighed:
Rise and fall, everything is idle, and wealth is immortal. Think about physics, sit down and sigh: life is as safe as yours.
Before that, Han Yu also wrote Song of the Stone Drum, and Su Shi's poem was competing with him, and finally became two masterpieces of reciting the stone drum.
From the aesthetic taste, Su Shi praised Wang Wei's poems and paintings for their similarity: breaking through the similarity and getting the spirit, reflecting the inner spirit of things and the poet's thoughts and feelings. Just like the fairy bird flying out of the cage and soaring freely in the vast sky, it belongs to the masterpiece of a real artist.
Another song is even more famous: "Life knows what is everywhere. It should be like Hong Fei stepping on the mud. If you accidentally leave your fingers and claws on the mud, how can Hong Fei count things? " This poem has pictures, poems in paintings and rich philosophy of life. Mr. Dongpo's detached and free-spirited, selfless aesthetic realm is vividly on the paper.
