Appreciation of Begonia Poems in Lu You's Begonia Song

Appreciation of Begonia Poems in Begonia Song

Lu you

When I first came to Shudu, I went to Fan Ting in Nanchong to see Haitang.

I can't see it at that time, but I'm afraid there's a Bijifang.

Biji Haitang is unparalleled in the world, with branches like orangutan blood.

Is Yan Zhuang willing to be a man? I feel colorless before flowers.

The ship sailed eight thousand miles east, and peaches and plums really became slaves.

If the roots of begonia can move, Yangzhou peony should be ashamed to death.

Rain and spring, cuckoo cries, and dreams back to Shu every night.

Why seek immortality? More importantly, it is not enough to see a thousand years.

During his official career in Shu, the poet Lu You loved begonia in Shu, admired famous flowers in Shu, and wrote many begonia poems to express his affection. Because of his infatuation with Haitang, he got the nickname "Haitang Hall". After the poet left Shu, he was still haunted by Haitang in Shu, which was unforgettable. This poem "Begonia Song" was written in the late years, which poured the poet's infinite love for Sichuan Begonia.

There are sixteen sentences in the whole poem, four in one section and four in * * *, and the structure is quite symmetrical. In the first four sentences, the poet first saw the amazing artistic conception of Fan Ting begonia to show that all begonia in Sichuan are beautiful. At the beginning, the poet recalled that when he first entered Shu, his temples were not gray yet. "The temples are not pale", saying that they are not old, have less experience and spend less. It looks like a spare pen, but it's actually a copy below. The poet went on to say that when he passed Nanchong (now Nanchong City, Sichuan Province), he had seen Begonia flowers in Fan Tingming Garden. The beauty of this flower is unprecedented and breathtaking. Here, it represents the land of Shu and enjoys the beautiful begonia in Shu. "I'm afraid there will be a chicken garden", which is a wonderful link between the past and the future. This is not only a compliment to Fan Ting Begonia, but also a better embodiment of Bijifang Begonia. During this period, I was young and ignorant, but I mistook Fan Ting Begonia for the best, making Biji Begonia more beautiful. The opening is fascinating and people are eager to see the following. Although it looks like a letter, it is quite ingenious.

The last four sentences write the beauty of begonia in Bijifang on the front. "Biji Haitang is the best in the world" is the theme of this article, and it is also the conclusion reached by the poet after visiting all the gardens. The poet thinks that the beauty of begonia lies in its moving colors. Begonia Bijiensis is the most beautiful in the world, mainly reflected in its color. "Branches are like the blood of orangutans", which is the only sentence describing the beauty of Haitang in the whole poem. The rest are all empty words, which shows the preciousness of this sentence. Here, the poet rendered the scarlet color of Biji Begonia with thick brush. Moreover, it is not unique, and the branches are generally bright red and bloody. People always compare beautiful women to flowers, but begonia is more charming than beautiful women. A Chinese Odyssey is a beautiful woman in Sichuan, with beautiful face, green sleeves and rich makeup. But in front of this flower, they suddenly felt eclipsed. Through the propaganda and suppression of Ji Shu, the splendor and beauty of Biji Begonia are reflected. At this point, it seems that I can't continue to write. But the poet is not enough. He opened up a new realm when he was at the end of his tether, and set off the beauty of Sichuan begonia with famous and beautiful flowers from all over the world. This is the content of the following four sentences.

"The boat traveled eight thousand miles eastward", and the poet wrote a long trip far away from Shu with an exaggerated pen. In March in the south of the Yangtze River, Li Bai, a peach blossom, is gorgeous and pretty, and people are upset. But in the eyes of poets who are used to seeing begonia in Shu, they think that "peaches and plums have really become slaves." It is said that the young and beautiful peach and plum fresh bar will fall at the foot of Haitang like a slave. So the poet had a whim: If begonia from Sichuan is transplanted to the ancient city of Yangzhou, the world-famous peony in Yangzhou should die of shame. This section quotes famous flowers to set off the begonia in Sichuan, aiming at praising "Biji Begonia is the best in the world".

In the last four sentences, the poet deeply loves the begonia in Shu. Rhododendron is the Hou bird in Shu. According to legend, Du Yu, the king of Shu, was killed by a ghost and bled when he cried. Poet In the stormy spring season, the cuckoo is singing. I often dream of going back to Shu at night and enjoying Haitang. However, when you are dying, it is hard to get it again. How can we appreciate the beautiful flowers of begonia forever? So, he spread the wings of imagination, hoping to get the prescription of immortality and enjoy the begonia in Shu forever for thousands of years. Although it is a delusion, it shows a fascination with Haitang.

This is a hymn and love song dedicated to Haitang in Sichuan, and it is also a good memory of his life in Sichuan in his prime. It vividly shows the poet's love for beauty and heroic enthusiasm for life.

In order to write the beauty of Biji Begonia, the poet repeatedly compared Fan Ting Begonia, Uncle Zhuang Yanji, Jiangnan Li Tao and Yangzhou Peony, and received excellent artistic effects. The language is delicate and elegant, and it is naturally unadorned. The spirit of god is full, and the essence of poetry. It's an excellent seven-character song.
