The process of the performance department of the art examination is divided into preliminary examination, re-examination and third examination.
1. Preliminary test
It mainly tests the basic ability of lines and performance.
After candidates line up in batches to enter the examination room, they sit on both sides of the examination room. After the exam started, everyone walked to the middle of the exam room to introduce me, and then started the line exam. Generally, the initial line assessment will require modern poetry, and some schools will require prose or fables. The time is generally 20 to 30 seconds. If the examiner sees the candidate's level, he or she will stop. However, the length of the display does not represent the level of the candidate or the result.
After the line test, there will be a performance test. Usually it is a simple proposition sketch. Sometimes after several people have finished taking the line test, this group will be assigned propositions first, and then the candidates in this group will come up with ideas outside the examination room and continue the line test inside the examination room. After all the line examinations were completed, the candidates in the first group entered the examination room and began the performance examination. Beginning acting teachers usually focus on a person's sense of belief in a prescribed situation.
2. Re-examination
The process of the re-examination is similar to that of the initial examination. Generally, vocal and physical examinations will be added, that is, self-introduction, line examination, vocal examination, physical examination, and performance examination. The first three items also have less than 60 seconds of display time. The performance teacher also writes essays, but focuses on communication and adaptation, and the difficulty level will be relatively higher, allowing the school to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the candidates.
3. The third test
The third test is an assessment of comprehensive quality. In addition to self-prepared lines, sometimes the test content will be distributed on the spot. In addition, the sound conditions will also be assessed, such as strong voice and high rhythm, shouting, etc. The physical assessment will examine flexibility, kicking, lowering, and imitation of dance movements. The vocal music test will examine rhythm singing and melody singing. There are many performance items, including music experience, prescribed situation experience, event sketches, etc.
The examination content of the third test is basically equivalent to designing a relatively simple and elementary performance class, and comprehensive quality is defined through the students' completion status.
Candidates who pass all three examinations will participate in a talent show and a physical examination. If the physical examination is satisfactory, a literary examination certificate will be mailed to them.
Different schools have slightly different questions and requirements. For details, please refer to the admission brochures of each school.
