First, the beginning of the official career. "Looking Back on the Ancient Times from Mianchi" was written in the sixth year of Jiayou (106 1). Su Shi went to Fengxiang to take office and passed by Mianchi.
Second, the silent period before the poetry case. Two Poems of Drinking Rain on Lake Chuqing was written in Xining for six years (1073). "Jiangchengzi" (ten years of life and death) and "Jiangchengzi" (the old man talks about juvenile madness, written in Xining eight years (1075); Shuidiao (when is the bright moon) was written in Xining, Mizhou, for nine years (1076); Pen and ink: bamboo in the valley was written in the second year of Yuanfeng (1079) and Huzhou was appointed as the magistrate.
Third, relegate Huangzhou. "Bu Operator" (no moon hanging and thinning trees) was written during Yuanfeng's three-year (1080) residence in Dinghuiyuan, Huangzhou; Ding Fengbo (not listening to the sound of leaves beating in the forest) was written in Yuanfeng five years (1082) when traveling outside Huangzhou in the rain; Nian Nujiao, Qianchibi Fu and Houchibi Fu were all written by Yuan Feng during his five-year tour of Chibi in Huangzhou (1082).
Fourth, reuse in Beijing. Two Scenes along the Hui Chong River and A Reply to Zhang Wenqian's Letter to Xiancheng were written in Yuan Feng's eighth year (1085) when he was the minister of Bianjing's Chinese calligraphy.
Five, exile. "Xijiang Moon" (jade bone's Sad Fog) was written after Shao Sheng was exiled to Huizhou for three years (1096), and his concubine died in the clouds. "Writing with a Pen" and "Night Travel on a Book" were written in the second year of Fu Yuan's release to Danzhou, Hainan (1099).
Sixth, old age. Crossing the Sea on the Night of June 20th was written in Fu Yuan's third year (1 100) and returned to the mainland from the island to cross the Qiongzhou Strait. A model was written in the third year of Fu Yuan (1 100), one year before Su Shi's death.
