How to make students like music lessons

Gong and Liao Hongyan of Zekou Primary School in Qianjiang City clearly pointed out that interest is the basic motivation for learning music and the premise for students to keep close contact with music, enjoy music and beautify their lives with music. I have been engaged in music teaching in primary schools for many years and investigated the interest of senior students in music classroom learning. Many students report that they don't like to sing the songs in the textbook, and think that the songs in the textbook are old-fashioned, ugly and difficult to sing, but prefer the songs sung by popular singers such as Jay Chou, S.H.E and Yu Quan. So, how can we make our music textbooks attract students and make them like music lessons? Interest is the best teacher. In order to stimulate students' interest in music, I take various forms to create a good situation and harmonious atmosphere in the classroom, so that students can actively enter the music classroom and like the songs in the music textbook. First, create a situation and atmosphere with language. For example, when I was studying the national anthem, I told the students the background, short stories and social situation of the national anthem with great affection, and the students naturally entered the study, with good learning results. In the "childhood" class, I first let the students talk about the most unforgettable things in childhood, and then recite poems and essays related to childhood with emotion. Teachers and students create a kind of situation with faint memories floating in the air. In this beautiful situation, the students finished the teaching content of this lesson easily and happily. Second, use intuitive pictures to create a situation and atmosphere. When learning the song "Guessing Tune", I prepared some beautiful pictures of Yunnan customs to guide the children to watch. Through pictures, children can intuitively feel the happy life scene of Dai children, and students will be much happier and simpler when learning songs. When I was in Tianshan Mountain, I prepared pictures of Kazak and Uygur costumes for students to identify. I also prepared some scenic pictures of Xinjiang for students to enjoy. While looking at the pictures, the students listened to the teacher's introduction to Xinjiang, and unconsciously entered the situation of "Tianshan customs", from which they learned about the customs of Xinjiang, broadened their knowledge of music culture, and changed passive learning into active learning. Third, make use of changes in the environment to create a situation and atmosphere. As mentioned in "New Year's Eve", my students and I put up a lot of window grilles in the classroom, and the classroom immediately felt the New Year. Coupled with music, students quickly realized the atmosphere of the New Year and integrated this feeling into the learning content. Singing the Second Little Cowherd is an excellent narrative song with wide spread based on the heroic deeds of Cowherd Wang Erxiao in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. In order to let the students quickly enter the story situation, I hung a five-star red flag and an anti-Japanese war picture on the wall of the classroom in advance, and put a red army hat, a small white jacket, a red tassel gun, a red five-star and other props on the table, which created a good situation for the students. Students study songs carefully and participate in performances with passion. Fourth, create a situation and atmosphere with small games. In the "Grassland" lesson, there is a learning of knowledge and skills: knowing the attached octave and using it accurately. These small games I designed, such as pony coming, who is the little champion, making new friends, running with the champion, pony relay race, Ma Benteng Nadam convention, integrate pony coming activities and 8-minute rhythm learning into the situation of grassland Nadam convention horse racing, and students can complete their knowledge and skills in relaxed and happy games. With the change and progress of society, our music teaching also needs to be improved and updated, so as to inject vitality into music classroom teaching, let students actively devote themselves to the learning they are interested in, let students not get bored, and let them participate in teachers' teaching independently and cooperate happily with their classmates. Teachers should take various forms to effectively stimulate students' interest in music, so that students often enter the music classroom with strong interest. Let students always maintain a positive attitude and pleasant experience in music learning, and music will really enter students' hearts, become a beautiful thing in their hearts, and make them really like music lessons.
