Cut your sword on my throat! Don't hesitate any longer! If God can give me another chance, I will say three words to that girl: I love you. If I have to add a time limit to this love, I hope it is-ten thousand years!

Behind the scenes production
The screenwriter and director of A Chinese Odyssey are both Liu Zhenwei, but in the subtitle of the film, the screenwriter is called "Ji 'an" because Liu Zhenwei used this pseudonym to fulfill a promise.
Before the film was made, some staff of Xiying Factory felt it was unreasonable after reading the script outline, but they agreed to cooperate in consideration of Stephen Chow's market orientation.
"A Chinese Odyssey" didn't have a detailed script until it started shooting, just a rough idea, which was taken from "Ji 'an", that is, director and screenwriter Liu Zhenwei. In Liu Zhenwei's view, the candidate for the "Supreme Treasure" in the play must belong to Stephen Chow.
Prior to this, Stephen Chow worked with Liu Zhenwei in many films, including Stephen Chow's famous film Gambling Saint. Similarly, in the creation of A Chinese Odyssey, Stephen Chow provided many opinions, and even many familiar dialogues were written by him.
