What is the difference between Christian repentance and humanistic repentance?

Sister/brother, peace! See your problem again, come in and learn to support!

Christian repentance is to see all your sins and filth, see your complete corruption and realize that your original life is hopeless and waiting for extinction under the illumination of the Holy Spirit. I also realize that no matter how hard I try and struggle, I can't save the righteous anger of the most high, but I can only perish under the wrath of God. Therefore, I regret my sin and long to be saved. This kind of repentance happens to the chosen people according to God's will, making them leave evil ways and seek salvation from Jesus Christ.

People-oriented repentance takes Buddhist repentance as an example. Out of disgust at the consequences of evil. Although most people have no idea of sin in their hearts, they have a conscience in their hearts. According to their life experience, finding these things against their conscience will bring them a very painful ending one day. They hate these endings and hope to escape the consequences of these evils, so they say they should repent. And their repentance is for a better life, and their motive for repentance is the simplest sentence: "Good people are rewarded". This comes from the trust in justice in the hearts of natural people, but it is also a manifestation of selfishness. Because they do good deeds for their own interests in this life, for fame and fortune, and for honoring their ancestors. This kind of confession will eventually breed hypocrisy. Because they don't know that people are completely corrupt, it is impossible to do good through their own efforts. Therefore, they can only disguise their appearance, but their hearts are full of bitterness and hypocrisy.
