Missing modern poetry in a summer night's dream

The crescent moon hangs in front of my west window.

I stepped on the ladder pulled down by moonlight.

Go to the moon like a ship

I started the engine.

Sail the moon like a boat

Fly to my alma mater

The wind is coming.

The stars on both sides waved to me.

A few white clouds seem to be clapping for me, too.

The wee hours

I came to my alma mater after a 25-year absence.

I parked the moon on the lawn in front of the school.

Next to a willow tree

She is still so slim.

Like a young girl.

Wear summer clothes

A head of hair

Fluttering with the breeze

School plaque

Bright, shiny; Shine, shine

reflection ray

The outline of my alma mater is exactly as I remember it.

Standing in the garden in the middle of the school

I know the direction.

To the east is the teaching building.

To the north is the dormitory building.

To the west is the canteen.

To the south are cinemas and sports fields.

Revisit familiar places

When you see something, you think of this person ―― this thing reminds people of a person related to it.

Count the past

Former classmate

At this moment.

Appear in my mind again.

unforgettable

At the class meeting, the students played and sang.

unforgettable

The heroism of the students in the sports field.

unforgettable

Students' encouragement and eager expectation.

unforgettable

Students' laughter and youthful ideals.

Now the building is empty.

Separate from each other

Years have lengthened my thoughts.

No matter where you are

Everyone has my deep blessings and hopes.

I wish my dear classmates

Happiness and well-being

Mentality is full of sunshine
