What means of transportation should I take from Guangxi to Hainan?

I come from Yulin, Guangxi, and my grandmother lives in Tunchang, Hainan. I go back almost every year, so I have more experience and voice.

Take a long-distance sleeper bus (usually in big cities such as Nanning). Remember, take the car with the coordinates "people and cars crossing the sea" (the fare usually includes the fare).

Now there are car ferries in Qiongzhou Strait. When the bus arrives at the dock, the driver will handle the ticket and send it to you. Just follow the people in your car. The ferry has two or three floors, the bottom floor is all kinds of cars, and the second and third floors are passenger cabins and decks. But you should remember the license plate number of your car in advance (because there are many buses when the ship arrives in Hong Kong, you should find a seat). After the ship arrives in Hong Kong, disembark with the passengers, wait in the open space of the dock (it will take about 20 minutes for the ship to unload), then find your car, get on the bus and leave the dock together.

All the cars boarded at Hai 'an Town, xuwen county, and disembarked at Haikou.

Now there are two wharves in Hai 'an, Hai 'an Wharf and Beigang Wharf. Haian Wharf is the location of most passenger ferries; Beigang Wharf is a place where cars and trains cross (but if you want to take a train to Hainan, only Beijing and Zhanjiang have it).

There are three docks in Haikou, namely Xingang Wharf, Xiuying Wharf and Nangang Wharf.

Most buses get off at Xingang and Xiuying, and a few buses and trains get off at Beigang.

The crossing time is generally 40-80 minutes (the earliest ship is Beigang, 9 am).

Cars are the main means of transportation in Hainan Island. The car of "Haiqi" Group is very good (several times better than that of "Mei Yun"), and there are special attendants on it. Remember, you have to buy a ticket at the station to get on the bus, so that the car you take is a good car (air-conditioned express). If it is passed, the tickets all contain 1 yuan insurance, if the cars on the roadside are broken (rickety and smelly).

This is how I went to Hainan. Convenient and fast, no need to change cars. Sleepers (crossing the sea) from Guangxi to Hainan are generally XX- Haikou or XX- Sanya, and they will all go to Haikou anyway. If you have other plans, you can make them in Haikou.

By the way, in my experience, if you get seasick, don't eat too much before boarding the boat. If you eat too much, you will vomit. When you arrive in Haikou, you should replenish your energy, take some "motion sickness medicine" and drink plenty of water (don't worry, there are plenty of toilets on board).

That's it. I hope it helps you.

Wish: Have a nice trip! !
