Let me introduce this painter. I think everyone knows him well-Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853- 1890). Alias "Van Gogh" or "Van Gogh", a Dutch post-impressionist painter. Born in a Protestant family, he was a pioneer of post-impressionism, which had a far-reaching influence on the art of the 20th century, especially the fauvism and expressionism.
He was influenced by the dark school until he moved to Paris to live with his younger brother, who was an art dealer, and met the painters who shocked the whole Paris art world at that time. His painting style was gradually influenced by impressionist painters. Later, after sketching in the wild for a long time, his tone gradually changed from dark to bright.
It is well known that Van Gogh was cut off. The original self-portrait was created after the ear was cut off. 1In May of 889, Van Gogh came to St. Remy's Hospital for treatment, and this painting was created in St. Remy's Hospital. This self-portrait means a lot to him. He himself thinks this job is a sign of his sanity. At this time, he is eager to leave the hospital and return to the painter group. In the picture, Van Gogh's eyes are firm and powerful, with blue as the main color and gray and green mixed in the background. Spiral circuits are a symbol of the author's high spirits, but they are still in order.
The following is my creative step diagram to share with you.
First, shape and lay a big color block.
Secondly, simply draw the background texture and deal with the relationship between the light and shade of clothes and the background color of the face.
At this time, someone must ask why I don't have a face background color, because ... I am lazy and don't want to repaint, so I will finish painting this color first and then draw other colors. But! This is not right, because in a picture, the colors are all you have me and I have you. Only in this way can the picture have a sense of integrity. Don't be like me. Art cannot be lazy sometimes.
Third, we use small strokes to draw the background texture and characterization.
That's it.
