How to understand the leap of poetry

A major feature of ci creation is the leap of language. Due to the limitation of space and words, poetry works need to be refined. It is impossible and artistic if the author expresses everything described in detail. This requires the author to concise and simplify the language, find out the key words and arrange them reasonably. Therefore, the language in poetry works has the characteristics of jumping, but this jumping must be reasonable. At this time, the coherence of thinking is needed to restrain, so this leap must be based on the theme and reasonable thinking. Only by organically combining the leap of language with the coherence of thinking can we give full play to the artistry of works.

For example, Qin Guan's "Queqiao Fairy/Chinese Valentine's Day" has such a sentence: "Tender feelings are like water, courtesy is like a dream, and you can bear the Queqiao Fairy and return to your hometown." In modern Chinese, it means:

"(Two people's) tenderness is like water (as deep and gentle as water), and the ceremony (but it will) be like a dream (as far away as a dream, as beautiful as a dream). (So when two people are holding hands and looking at each other, how can they bear to (look back) see the way back to the Magpie Bridge?

In addition, there are "the cock crows in Maodian and the frost in Banqiao", all of which are jumping nouns.

In today's online works, many friends' works often say everything, thus forming the so-called "dignified" and "exaggerated", filling their own works to the brim, making the works look clumsy, leaving no room for readers' imagination, greatly reducing the artistry and appeal of the works, and making it difficult for readers to have a * * * sound on the works.
