Tour guide (1) must-see attractions

Huanggan Hall: Located on the north side of the Hall for Praying for the New Year, it was built in the 18th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1420). It is a hall with five blue glazed tiles, dedicated to the "God of the Emperor" and the version of the emperor's ancestors.

New Year Prayer Hall:

Located in the north of the Temple of Heaven, it was founded in the 18th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1420). In front of the temple are two rows of tall trees, which are lush. The whole Hall of Prayer is magnificent. The white stone carvings on the steps are exquisite in structure, exquisite in carving and rich and luxurious. There are 28 pillars in the main hall, which symbolize the stars in four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter, twelve months of the year, twelve o'clock and Sunday.

Single bridge:

Located in front of the Hall of Prayer for the Year, also known as Haicheng Avenue, it was built in the 18th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1420) and is the main passage connecting the Hall of Prayer for the Year and Ganquan Temple. There is a ticket hole under the flat and wide single bridge, which is the passage to the slaughter pavilion when livestock sacrifice, also known as the gate of hell.

Imperial vault:

Located in the north of Waqiu altar, it is mainly used to collect divine cards. The whole hall is rigorous and exquisite. On the steps outside the hall, there is a single stone carved with two dragons playing with pearls. The top of the hall is covered with a blue tile golden dome, and there are exquisite and beautiful algae wells inside. In front of the main hall, there are five halls dedicated to the Qing emperor, and each hall has a Shenmu card.

Sanyin stone:

Outside the palace gate of the imperial vault is the famous acoustic miracle Sanyin Stone. Standing on the first slate and talking to the temple, you can hear an echo; Standing on the second slate and talking to the temple, you can hear two echoes; Standing on the third slate and talking to the temple, you can hear three echoes. You can try it when there are few people.

Echo wall:

It is the wall of the imperial vault, with a height of 3.72m and a diameter of 6 1.5m, which has an echo effect. Because the whole fence is built very finely, the radian of the fence is regular, the wall is hard, neat and smooth, and the absorption of sound is small, which makes the attenuation of sound waves very small in the propagation process. Therefore, under normal circumstances, people can't hear whispers beyond 6m, but they can spread far in the echo wall, which is an acoustic miracle.

Mound:

Also known as the Temple of Heaven, it was built in the 9th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1530), where the emperor held the winter solstice ceremony. Red palace wall blue-green glazed tile lion wall. There are two doors around the sub-wall, namely, Cheng Zhen Gate, Taiyuan Gate, Guangli Gate and Zhaoheng Gate.

When you climb to the top of the platform, you will find that the sound here will become very loud whether you clap your hands or shout. It turns out that the top of the dome is not completely horizontal, and the loud noise we hear is not the original sound, but the echo formed by the short reflection of sound waves for 0.07 seconds.

(2) Other scenic spots

In addition to the above famous scenic spots, there are some small scenic spots to visit in the Temple of Heaven.

Chef:

There are two chefs in Tiantan Park, one is the South Chef and the other is the North Chef. The North Kitchen was recently opened, and there is a sacrificial pavilion next to it. Slaughterhouse:

It was used by the ancient royal family to slaughter sacrificial animals. Because you can't use a knife when offering sacrifices, it is also called a sacrifice pavilion. Zhai Gong:

Located on the west side of Yuqing Palace, it is a fasting place before the emperor's ceremony of offering sacrifices to heaven and land.

God is happy in summer;

Located in the northwest of Guanglimen, it was built in the 18th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1420). It is an organ used to play ancient music when managing sacrifices. Rose Garden:

When the flowers bloom, all kinds of roses are delicate and charming, attracting an endless stream of tourists. Kowloon cypress:

Also known as "Jiulong Yingsheng", it is located in the southwest of Cheng Zhen Gate at the southern end of Danbi Bridge. The whole tree is about tens of meters high, lush and winding like Kowloon, hence the name Jiulongbai. This tree has a history of nearly a thousand years and is the oldest cypress in Beijing. Double-ring Wanshou Pavilion:

The meaning of praying for a long life is particularly striking among the lush trees.
