How did the surname Xie come from?

The surname Xie mainly comes from two sources: Ren surname and Jiang surname. Legend has it that the Xie family with the surname Ren has a history of at least 3,500 years, and was almost wiped out during the three generations of "Xia, Shang and Zhou". The Xie family with the Jiang surname has a history of 2,800 years. It originated from Xieying Village, Jinhua, Wancheng District, Nanyang City, Henan Province. 1. Xie Yiwu

Xie Yiwu (25-89), named Yaoqing, A native of Shanyin in Kuaiji (now Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province) of the Eastern Han Dynasty. When he was young, he was a county official and learned the art of Fengjiao's occupation of marquises. The fifth Lun of the prefect promoted him to the post office of the county. Later, he was promoted to Xiaolian and served as the magistrate of Shouzhang County, and later the governor of Jingzhou.

2. Xie Lingyun

Xie Lingyun (385-433), whose original name was Zhengyi and whose courtesy name was Lingyun, was known as Xie Ke in the world. Born in the Xie family of Chen County, his ancestral home was Yangxia, Chen County (now Taikang County, Henan), and he was born in Shining, Kuaiji (now Shangyu District, Shaoxing, Zhejiang). He was a poet, Buddhist scholar and traveler during the Southern and Northern Dynasties.

In the second year of Emperor Yuanxing's reign (403), Xie Lingyun inherited his grandfather's title and was named Kang Le Gong. In the first year of Yixi (405), he served as Grand Sima Sima Dewen and joined the army. After that, he served as a general in Fujun's office and as a Taiwei in the army. After the Jin Dynasty in the Song Dynasty, Liu was demoted to the title of Marquis of Kangle, and served successively as the governor of Yongjia, secretary supervisor, and internal history of Linchuan. In the tenth year of Yuanjia (433), he was killed by Emperor Wen of the Song Dynasty, Liu Yilong, on the charge of "rebellion". He was only 49 years old.
