Tang Dynasty: Li Bai
Early in the morning, I bid farewell to Jiangling city, which is high into the sky, thousands of miles away, and the boat is only one day away.
The cries of apes on both sides of the strait are still unconsciously crowing in their ears, and the canoe has passed the heavy green hills.
Translation:
In the morning, I bid farewell to Jiangling, Bai Di, which is thousands of miles away and only takes one day to sail.
Apes on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are still crying in their ears. Unconsciously, the canoe has passed through the castle peak.

Writing background:
In the spring of 759 AD (the second year of Gan Yuan, Tang Suzong), Li Bai was exiled to Yelang for the case of Li Lin in Wang Yong, passing through Sichuan. When I went to Baidi City, I suddenly received the news of pardon and was pleasantly surprised. Then I went to Jiangling by boat. This poem was written when the author returned to Jiangling, so the title of the poem is Xiajiangling.
This poem is about the journey from Baidicheng to Jiangling in a day, which mainly highlights lightness, which also reflects Li Bai's lightness.
At the age of 58, Li Bai was demoted as a yelang, abandoned his wife and children, and moved away from home. Suddenly, he was forgiven and could go home. Naturally, he was very happy. Li Bai did not express his feelings directly in his poems, but after reading his description of the trip, he could naturally feel his mood and excitement.
Li Bai was born in Broken Leaf City in the Western Regions, and moved to Mianzhou, Jiannan at the age of 4 with his father. Li Bai has more than 1000 poems, among which Li Taibai Ji has been handed down from generation to generation. He died in 762 at the age of 6 1.
