Appreciation of Guan Yu

Nan Zhou Guanju is the first poem in The Book of Songs, the first poetry collection in ancient China. It is generally believed that this is a love song describing the love between men and women. In the first chapter of this poem, the birds are singing and falling in love, which arouses the association between ladies and gentlemen. In the following chapters, the hero's crazy lovesickness and pursuit of women are all caused by the act of picking leeks. The whole poem skillfully adopts the expressive technique of xing in art and has beautiful language.

Being good at using disyllabic rhymes and overlapping words enhances the beauty of rhymes and the vividness of drawing and imitating sounds. This poem evokes the theme of my fair lady and gentleman by evoking and contrasting, and then describes it by fu, vividly depicting the anxiety and urgency of young people pursuing their sweetheart and the lovesickness scene of missing him day and night.
