The entire ancient poem about flying into the homes of ordinary people

"Flying into the Homes of Ordinary People" comes from one of the representative works of the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi, "Bird Clothes Alley", original text:

?"Old Clothes Alley"

? (Tang Dynasty) Liu Yuxi

There are wild grass and flowers beside Zhuque Bridge, and the setting sun is setting at the entrance of Wuyi Lane.

In the old days, the king Xietang Qianyan flew into the homes of ordinary people.

Notes:

⑴Wuyi Lane: The name of a street in Jinling City, located south of the Qinhuai River, close to Zhuque Bridge. During the Three Kingdoms period, the State of Wu once set up a military camp here, where the Forbidden Army was based. Because the imperial guards wore black military uniforms at that time, the place was commonly known as Wuyi Lane. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, two major families, Wang Dao and Xie An, both lived in Wuyi Lane, and people called their children "Wuyi Lang". After entering the Tang Dynasty, Wuyi Lane fell into ruins.

⑵ Zhuque Bridge: A bridge across the Qinhuai River outside the Zhuque Gate just south of Jinling in the Six Dynasties, in today's Jiangning District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province.

⑶ Wang Xie: Wang Dao and Xie An, prime ministers of the Jin Dynasty, have aristocratic families and many talented people. They all live in the alleys, crowned with hairpins and tassels, and they are wealthy families in the Six Dynasties. In the old days, Wang Xie's family had many swallows. By the time of the Tang Dynasty, everything was in decline and no one knew where they were.

⑷ Ordinary: Ordinary.

Translation:

The side of Zhuque Bridge is covered with clumps of wild grass and dots of wild flowers. There are ruins at the entrance of Wuyi Alley, just as the sun sets in the west.

The swallows that used to build their nests in front of the Wang Xie Hall are now flying into the homes of ordinary people.
