Ancient poetry has always given me this feeling. Even if it is "tears streaming down my face", even if it is "but since the water is still flowing, although we cut it with a sword", I feel very comfortable and my heart is expanding, so happiness will come from sadness.
I can think of several reasons.
First of all, poetry gives people imagination. For children, the most important thing is the cultivation of imagination. Moreover, we must admit that the current classroom and current education have reduced children's imagination. I have always thought that poetry, with its concise words and expressions, always outlines a space for you to gallop your imagination. This space can be very big. So, make up for the child's imagination.
Secondly, it must be admitted that poetry is not all excellent, and there are many negative aspects in poetry. However, I think we can do it if we try our best to present some good things to the children. China is a kingdom of poetry, and hundreds of classic poems can still be found. Therefore, I think that the poems we provide to children can give them beauty, strength and passion. This is something that children must cherish and protect when they grow up. Without a good feeling and excitement flowing through the chest, the child's growth will be paler. Although there are many ways to give children beauty, I think it would be a pity that as a descendant of the Chinese nation, I have not experienced the beauty of classical poetry.
Third, Wang Guowei finalized the seventh cloud of "The Human Thorn": "Man Chun, the branch of an almond", and wrote the word "Noisy", which made the realm come out. I don't know whether Chinese characters are the most "environment-creating" characters in the world, but I think ancient poetry should be a model of "environment-creating". My understanding of the realm of poetry, I think maybe humming will enhance the realm of children's life, even if it is the taste of life.
Fourth, as a necessary accomplishment of China people. Charles eliot, former president of Harvard University, said, I think the only accomplishment that educated young men and women should have is to use their mother tongue accurately and elegantly. Yu Xiansheng said that "Tang poetry is the first cultural symbol of China people as China people" and "Song ci is another cultural symbol of China people after Tang poetry". Fifth, classical poetry pays most attention to the cadence and ups and downs of melody, and children feel better about rhyme than adults. In my opinion, classical poetry is the model and essence of Chinese, so that children can get the best language nutrition at the best time, and we should work hard. He said that I felt the benefits of "reciting" in China's traditional education, and I memorized many basic ideas when I was a child. So I advocate reciting, especially for children.
