Teaching Records of Unit 1 and Unit 2 of Reading Everyday

/kloc-After receiving the starting schoolbag in October, I led the students to learn the book Reading Everyday every week. On Monday morning, the fourth class is a general explanation of five poems in each unit. Then in the morning reading time of 20 minutes every morning, let the students read aloud and get familiar with the reading sound.

The five poems in Unit 1 are Outside the Fence by Emily Dickinson, Homesickness by Xi Murong, a writer in Taiwan Province, China, Home by Tagore, Heguang in The Book of Songs, Feng Wei and Shang Yang in Yuefu. My understanding of the above poems is as follows:

The first three poems are modern poems because there is only one book. I read with my ears. I read one sentence and the students read one sentence. The poem "Home" is relatively long. I read it several times in class, which left a deep impression on the students and made them familiar with poetry. Later "River Light" and "Shang Xie" were relatively short, so I copied them on the blackboard and asked the students to copy them down, and then read them carefully.

On the other side of the fence, the poet thinks from the perspective of children, and the world is like that fresh and sweet strawberry. Children are naughty and lovely, so would God if he were a child. The symbolic meaning of poetry is rich, concise and charming.

Nostalgia, written by Taiwan Province writer Xi Murong, uses "the flute in Qingyuan" and "a tree that will not grow old without rings" to compare homesickness and express the poet's deep nostalgia and disappointment. Reminds us of our hometown.

Tagore's "Home" is also written with deep hometown feelings. Perhaps primary school students are young and can't better understand the importance of family, which brings irreplaceable feelings to everyone.

The poem "He Guang" is written about the Song people who lived in Wei. Because of some obstacles, they couldn't think of the way home and sang to the river repeatedly. Water is a closed image in this poem. The hero is wandering by the river, and his hometown is near the other side, but he can't cross the river. His inner anxiety, the anxiety accumulated in his chest for a long time, seemed to surge out of the emptying. Poems rushed out, asked questions to the sky, and vented their grievances. The river is not wide, a reed can cross the other side, and the old country is not far away, so you can see it on tiptoe. The exaggerated rhetoric highlights the anxiety of the guests who want to go home.

Evil is a love poem, which describes a woman's constancy to love. This poem uses five impossible things in the following sentence "There is no grave on the mountain" to express its immortal love, which is full of rock-firm belief and fiery passion.

The five poems in Unit 2 are Well Frog by Xiaolan in the Philippines, Shell by Liushahe, Beginning by Tagore, a long song and an ancient poem. My understanding of the above poems is as follows:

"Well Frog", a teacher focused on the frog cry of "one east and one west, falling together", because it is very distinctive and childlike, I agree. But that's it? The rhythm of reading poetry is superficial. If it is limited to this, what should be understood as "there are not many frogs here, but every one chooses to jump into a shallow well" and "How can it be called dawn"? What does the frog in the shallow well represent? What does "dawn" mean?

"Shell", an empty shell also has a lifetime of brilliance, which is very common in the eyes of ordinary people, but the poet has seen a lot from it, heard a lot and thought a lot.

"Beginning" is selected from Tagore's "New Moon Collection". The children ask in a tone: "Where am I from?" The mother replied in a tone that the child is a part of the mother's body, a part of her soul and a part of her life.

Most of these ancient poems were written by wanderers who left home when they were young and returned home when they were old. Only when a person has experienced the joys and sorrows of his life will he sigh and warn: "Young people will be sad if they don't work hard." "Only by looking at the lake in front of the door, the spring breeze will not change the old waves."

In the face of time, it is everything. Life is precious and time is fleeting, so how important it is to work hard now!

The students in Unit 1 and Unit 2 have memorized ten poems, but they don't quite understand the connotation of the poems. In the future, I will use various methods to make students more aware of the poet's feelings.
