Translation of satirical and hypocritical ancient poems

Seven-step poem-Cao Zhi?

Beans are boiled to make thick soup. The bean dregs were filtered out. The beanstalk is burning under the cauldron, and the beans are crying inside. They are brothers born from the same root. But why do terriers have to torture beans so fiercely?

Cook beans to make bean soup. I want to filter out the residue of beans and leave the bean juice for soup. The beanstalk burns under the pot, and the beans cry in the pot. Beans and beanstalks originally grew on the same root. How can beanstalk torture beans in such a hurry?

The metaphor of "burning beans" in the poem accuses Cao Pi of eating people. After hearing this, Cao Pi felt deeply ashamed, or was afraid of being laughed at by the world. In order to keep his reputation and protect the world, he only demoted Cao Zhi to Anping Hou. Cao Zhi escaped with his outstanding literary talent.

This poem uses the same root as the bean book, indicating that Cao Zhi and Cao Pi are brothers, and using the bean book to indicate that the brother of the same flesh and blood kills the younger brother, vividly and simply explains what is a superficial brother.
