Five-character Zen poetry

I am a bodhi tree, and my heart is like a mirror platform. Wipe it frequently to prevent it from accumulating dust.

Bodhi trees have no trees, and the mirror platform is not a platform. There is nothing, so there is no dust.

Dongshan Xiling is green, but it is sunny under the rain. I want to ask you more things. A pigeon gives birth to an eagle.

Draw the donkey to drink the river, blow the waves with the nose. The shoes are on the shore and the mouth is in the water.

Hoe with your bare hands and ride a buffalo on foot. People cross the bridge, but the bridge does not flow.

Open the golden lock of the chamber of secrets, walk leisurely and let go of the door. A flute without holes will blow out a phoenix cloud.

Clouds disperse, leaves return to their roots. Looking back at the smoke waves, fishing songs go far away from the village.

Stand upright and relax the moon, and the fish swim to the bottom. The scenery is occupied, and it costs nothing.

Eat when you are hungry and add clothes when you are cold. Stretch your feet to sleep when you are sleepy, and love the wind when you are hot.

The heart turns with the world, and it can be quiet when it turns. Go with the flow intellectually, no joy and no worries.

Old bamboo shoots, new flowers grow old branches. Rain urges travelers to arrive, and wind sends sails home.
