Destined to meet thousands of miles away is a classic saying that describes two people who are destined to meet, no matter how far apart they are. The earliest verse comes from the 14th chapter of "Zhang Xie Zhuangyuan" written by an unknown person in the Song Dynasty: "If we are destined to meet each other thousands of miles away, if we are not destined to meet each other, we will not meet each other."
