After Tang Xianzong ascended the throne, he carried out some political reforms and appointed some honest ministers like Li Jiang as prime ministers. But he still values eunuchs. He wants to crusade against the buffer region and use a eunuch leader as commander in chief. This matter caused opposition from some ministers. The most fierce opposition is left gleaning Bai Juyi.
Bai Juyi was a famous poet in Tang Dynasty and a native of Xiayi (now the northeast of Weinan, Shaanxi). His reputation for being good at writing poems spread early. Bai Juyi was clever from an early age. He was only six or seven months old when he was born, and he could recognize the words "know" and "nothing". He began to learn to write poetry at the age of five or six. When he was about fifteen or sixteen years old, his father was an official in Xuzhou, asking him to go to Chang 'an, the capital, to see the world and make friends with celebrities.
At that time, it was after the Zhu rebellion that Chang 'an suffered great damage. Especially after years of war, food shortage in various places, soaring rice prices in Chang 'an, people's lives are very difficult.
At that time, there was a writer in Chang 'an named Gu Kuang, who was brilliant but arrogant. When he meets the younger generation, he often relies on his qualifications. Bai Juyi heard Gu Kuang's fame and took his manuscript to Gu Kuang's home for advice.
Gu Kuang heard that Bai Juyi is also the son of a butler, so he can't accept it. Bai Juyi visited Gu Kuang and gave him a famous card and a poem.
Gu Kuang looked at the young people, looked at the famous post, saw the word "Juyi", frowned and joked: "The price of rice in Chang 'an is very expensive recently, but life is not easy! "
Bai Juyi was scolded by Gu Kuang inexplicably, and he didn't care. He stood respectfully asking for advice. Gu Kuang picked up the scroll and flipped through it. His hand suddenly stopped, eyes staring at the scroll, gently chanting:
The endless grass on the plain comes and goes with each season;
Wildfire can't burn it out, but the spring breeze can revive it.
When Gu Kuang read this, he showed excitement on his face. He immediately stood up, held Bai Juyi's hand tightly and said enthusiastically, "Ah! It is not difficult to write such a good poem and live in Chang 'an. I just played a joke on you, don't take it amiss. "
After this meeting, Gu Kuang appreciated Bai Juyi's poetic talent very much and boasted to everyone how great the children of the White House were. When word of mouth spread, Bai Juyi became famous in Chang 'an. In less than a few years, he passed the Jinshi exam. Tang Xianzong heard about his reputation, and immediately promoted him to a bachelor's degree in Hanlin, and later sent him to pick up the left.
Bai Juyi is not the kind of bureaucrat who strives for fame and gain and flatters his superiors. While constantly creating new poems and exposing some unhealthy phenomena in the society at that time, he repeatedly remonstrated with Xian Zong, especially against letting eunuchs master the military power.
This time, Bai Juyi discouraged Xian Zong from letting eunuchs be the commander in chief, which made Xian Zong very angry. He said to Prime Minister Li Jiang, "I promoted Bai Juyi. How can you be so disrespectful to me? I really can't stand it! "
Li Jiang said: "Bai Juyi dared to directly remonstrate in front of your majesty and was not afraid of decapitation, which just showed his loyalty to the country." If we commit his crime, I'm afraid no one will dare to tell the truth in the future.
Tang Xianzong reluctantly accepted Li Jiang's opinion and didn't fire Bai Juyi for the time being. However, a few days later, he was finally relieved of his post as Zuo Shiyi and changed to the official position of the faction.
Bai Juyi wrote many poems, many of which are realistic, such as Qin Zhongyin and New Yuefu. In these poems, some expose the evil of eunuchs oppressing the people, some satirize the extravagant life of bureaucrats, and some reflect the sufferings of working people. His poems were easy to understand and were welcomed by the broad masses of the people at that time. Bai Juyi's poems are being recited everywhere in the streets. It is said that when Bai Juyi finishes writing a poem, he always reads it to an illiterate old woman first. If there is something he doesn't understand, he will revise it until he can make her understand. This is of course only a legend, but it shows that his poems are closer to the masses.
It is precisely because his poems reflect the reality that he offended the eunuchs and big bureaucrats in power and also attracted some people's curses and jealousy.
Someone wants to frame Bai Juyi, but he can't find an excuse at the moment.
A few years later, Bai Juyi became a doctor in the East Palace of Prince Edward. On one occasion, Prime Minister Wu was assassinated by an assassin. The assassination had a complicated political background, and no one in the imperial court wanted to talk about it. Only Bai Juyi stood up. First of all, he wrote a letter to Xianzong, demanding that the murderer be wanted. Eunuch bureaucrats seized this opportunity, saying that Bai Juyi was not an admonisher, and he shouldn't make wild claims about the state affairs, so he bitterly prosecuted.
Then, another group of officials who had always hated Bai Juyi made a scene, slandered Bai Juyi and threw sewage at him. Some people say that Bai Juyi's mother drowned by watching flowers fall into the well, but Bai Juyi actually wrote poems such as "Appreciating Flowers" and "New Well". Isn't that a big unfilial thing?
After such accusations by Luo Zhi, no one can defend Bai Juyi, and Bai Juyi was finally demoted to Jiangzhou (now Jiujiang, Jiangxi) to be a Sima.
Bai Juyi was demoted innocently and was very depressed when he arrived in Jiangzhou. One night, when he was seeing off guests at Xupukou, Jiangzhou, he heard a sad pipa sound from the river, which made people ask questions. It turned out to be played by an old singer who wandered the Jianghu. Bai Juyi met the singer and was very sympathetic to her sad story. Remembering one's own experience causes full anxiety. After I came back, I wrote the famous narrative poem Pipa Xing, which said:
Her first guitar note made me sigh. Now, after listening to her story, I feel even sadder.
We were all unhappy until the end of the day, when we met. We understand. What is the relationship between acquaintances? .
Later, Bai Juyi returned to Beijing several times and served as a court official. But the political affairs at that time were very chaotic, and it was impossible for an upright person like Bai Juyi to make a difference. He devoted all his energy to poetry creation. He wrote more than 2,800 poems in his life, which became a very precious legacy in China's literary treasure house.

Bai Juyi, a poet in Tang Dynasty. The word Lotte,No. Xiangshan lay, Mr. Drunk Sound. My ancestral home is Taiyuan. Wu was born in Dongguozhai, Xinzheng County, Henan Province on the 20th day of the first month of the seventh year of Dali (AD 772) and died in August of the sixth year (846) at the age of.
75 years old. In his later years, the official was the Prince with less Fu, and posthumous title was Bai Fu and Bai Wengong. He is a very important poet in the history of China literature.
Bai Juyi was an idol at that time, and his writing influence not only spread in the cultural circle, but also swept the entertainment circle. His "Song of Eternal Sorrow" and "Pipa Journey" are widely circulated, and even today, they are probably not worse than "Nunchaku".
At the same time, there are also many people who disapprove of what Bai Juyi has done, and some even give him a moral evaluation of an "old rascal".
Teenagers' names are wildly sought after by fans.
Among many famous artists, Bai Juyi probably belongs to the category of genius.
When he was only six or seven months old, his family pointed to the words "wisdom" and "nothing" to tease him. He actually remembers that every time someone asked Bai Juyi, who can't speak, he could accurately point out the word. If such gifted children were placed at the end of the last century, they might have participated in the juvenile prodigy classes of those famous universities.
What is rare is that Bai Juyi did not appear like the children in the prodigy class in colleges and universities. He learned to write poetry at the age of five or six, and he was familiar with phonology at the age of nine-this man was born to eat words. Besides, Bai Juyi studied so hard that his mouth was sore and his elbows were cocooned. In this way, although he didn't become a doctor of returnees at the age of 16, he has written such a beautiful sentence as "they are taller again in the spring breeze".
Bai Juyi first came to Chang 'an to meet his predecessors and seek support. Gu Kuang, who has a famous literary name, has always been clean, so he made a big appointment with Bai Juyi and said, "Beijing rice is very expensive, so it is probably not easy to live here." After watching "Spring Breeze is High", he immediately changed his tune and said, "With your talent, you can certainly get along well in Beijing." At that time, I wanted to come to the capital. The rice price was high and the house price was not so scary. Otherwise, no matter how the spring breeze blows, it will not blow out the Guangsha Huatang.
Later, Bai Juyi's poems became more and more famous. In these public places, men, women and children are reciting Bai Juyi's poems. Idolize's enthusiasm is not worse than the previous super girl. Moreover, there is no TV station, no planning company behind Bai Juyi's poems, and there is no possibility of spontaneous dissemination by the masses.
At that time, an officer wanted to recruit a geisha, and a geisha said that he could recite Bai Xueshi's Song of Eternal Sorrow to improve his social status. Sure enough, it worked, and the appearance fee of this famous geisha really increased. Bai Juyi is somewhat proud of this and deliberately shows it off in his letters to friends.
Tattoos were very popular in the Tang Dynasty, and society did not completely equate tattoos with unhealthy young people. A fanatical super "white fan", Bai Juyi wrote more than 30 poems from the neck down, and often proudly showed off his chest and arms in the street and sang loudly. At that time, Bai Juyi was simply the "King of the Day".
Political frustration and geisha are in the same boat.
Literary achievements deserve conceit, but that is not Bai Juyi's goal. Making contributions is an eternal theme. Bai Juyi lived in the decline and fall of the Tang Dynasty. Faced with the chaotic situation of warlord melee and political turmoil, Bai Juyi actively spoke to the emperor, hoping to make a difference.
Bai Juyi was frank and courageous in this period, but no matter what era, such people always seemed to be "ignorant". He even interfered with the emperor's harem. During the drought, Bai Juyi dared to ask the emperor to dismiss some maids, for one thing, to reduce expenses, and for another, to reduce the lack of boys and girls in society. As a result, no one expected that he went to find a scolding.
Bai Juyi, in his prime of life and outspoken, did not achieve his goal, but provoked many powerful enemies for himself. In fact, his eager and straightforward style made it unbearable for the emperor who personally promoted him. Sometimes, before the words of the emperor Lao Tzu are finished, Bai Juyi will just answer back and wait for a while: "Your Majesty is wrong." The emperor changed his face on the spot and said to people afterwards, "I promoted this boy, but he dared to do it, mostly because he didn't want to mix up."
Although the emperor didn't do anything to Bai Juyi at once, mines have been planted. Later, when the Prime Minister was assassinated, Bai Juyi was the first to suggest hunting the mastermind. Political opponents took the opportunity to accuse him of exceeding his authority. As usual, with some gossip, he was demoted to Jiangzhou Sima. Bai Juyi's first political peak is over.
Although Sima Bai Juyi was frustrated in Jiangzhou, she and Chang 'an were in the same boat and met by chance during the famous pipa trip. But he is still waiting for his chance, and he is still full of hope.
Returning to Beijing again, at first, Bai Juyi's style remained unchanged. In order to gain a foothold, he even turned against his long-time friend Yuan Zhen. However, the fierce struggle between political groups finally made him "sensible" gradually. Bai Juyi went from anxiety to disappointment and then to escape. He admitted his failure, and in order to avoid the political vortex, he was willing to be a local official outside.
Personal will is too small in front of the great ship of fate. Only a few people are soldiers all their lives. Bai Juyi is not the kind of person whose political demands are particularly strong and whose personal will is particularly firm. The poet's early ideals have gradually faded away in reality.
Lao Luan once "forced" a friend's wife to die.
Bai Juyi will be old one day, and by that time, he will begin to enjoy life.
Others are old, but their hearts are spent. They began to raise a large number of housewives and personally guided them to learn music and dance. Due to the spread of his poems, Bai Juyi's family history is very famous, among which Xiao Man and a household name. "Flat mouth and thin waist" this
A romantic sentence comes from Bai Juyi.
Not only that, Bai Juyi seems to like the new and hate the old. He changed three batches of girls in 10, just because after a few years, he felt that the original girl was too old to watch, and at this time he was 67 years old. Even if you are not an elderly person, it is a little lifestyle to change girlfriends in batches so frequently. Mr. Yang Zhenning just married a young wife, which caused a lot of discussion. Bai Juyi has obviously gone too far-buying and selling people and playing with women, so it is necessary to put it in the present. ...
Of course, we can't judge the ancients more than a thousand years ago by modern standards. Bai Juyi's behavior at that time was not wrong in law or morality. However, at Bai Juyi's age, he was not self-respecting. When youth is gone forever, people often encounter spiritual crisis, and Bai Juyi once again shows his weak will at this moment. After a serious illness, Bai Juyi probably felt that his future was numbered. Although he didn't want to go, he fired his favorite Xiao Man and Su Fan, which is a small plan for their future. Bai Juyi, he sang "This Jiujiang Officer". My blue sleeves are wet with pity ",and now there is a resurgence.
However, Bai Juyi's attitude towards women has always been questioned, and later there were rumors that he forced his friend to death. Guan is Bai Juyi's best friend's concubine room. After his best friend died, Guan lived alone for 10 years and never remarried. When Bai Juyi heard about it, he wrote a poem for Guan to the effect that after Guan died, his thoughts about Guan were all in vain. People are dead, and everything is empty. This kind of exclamation can be said to be normal. But it can also be understood that it is not enough to condemn Guan. He did not die as a martyr. After reading this poem, he died of hunger strike soon.
This case-solving later became Bai Juyi's indictment. However, over time, the credibility of the legend has to be discounted. Although Bai Juyi was addicted to debauchery in his later years, there was no need to force other people's wives to death. At least he's not that confused.
No one is perfect, and Bai Juyi is certainly not. He will shrink back and be depressed, but he has a glory that he can't hide. We remember him for his poems.
