[End composition] Yuan Zhen's poems

Hurried through the flowers, lazy to look back; This reason is partly because of the ascetic monk, and partly because of who you used to be.

Wei cong, the youngest daughter of Jing and Wei, is the apple of her eye. In Zhenyuan 19 (803), Wei was appointed as a guest of honor of the Prince and stayed in. There is a saying in Yuan Zhen's Seventy Rhymes of Sleepwalking in Spring: "At the beginning of the second century, Samsung was sacrificed ... Weimen was in full bloom and was full of joy." Yuan Zhen also wrote a poem "Accompany Zhang Shangshu to the letter hall to present the Wei brothers": "The purple wall rides into the mansion, and the child wears clothes to protect it. What happened to scholar Shuige? He also followed the ministers on horseback. " It can be seen how flattering he is from going in and out of Weimen to becoming a son-in-law. At that time, Yuan Zhen married 20-year-old Wei Cong. When Yuan Zhen married Wei Cong, it was the time when Yuan Zhen failed in the imperial examination and was most lost. However, Wei Xiaqing admired Yuan Zhen's talent and thought that Yuan Zhen had great prospects, so he betrothed his daughter to him. After marriage, the two loved each other and had close feelings. Wei Congcong is virtuous, virtuous and dignified, not rich, not vain and hardworking. Many years later, Yuan Zhen recorded the scene in his poems: Ah, Xie's young girl, married, is a good girl. Although I have no clothes to collect, I sell wine and roasted gold hairpin. You eat your food with wild vegetables, but your food is sweet. You cook with dead branches with leaves. Now that I am a high official, you are far away from the world and sent some monks and priests to be at the mercy of monks. As can be seen from the poem, it was when Yuan Zhen was frustrated that Wei Cong and he had been living a rather poor life. Picking gold hairpin adds new materials for husband to sell wine and pick up fallen leaves. With a gentle personality, she has always worked hard, no regrets, and tried her best to care for her husband. Yuan Zhen himself certainly knows this very well, and he is also very satisfied to have a wife like Wei Cong. "Once the sea is difficult for water, amber forever. Lazy looking back at flowers, half the sky is repaired, and half the sky is a gentleman. " This poem also shows the deep affection between husband and wife. If you marry such a wife, what more can you ask for? In the 19th year of Zhenyuan (AD 803), 24-year-old Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi won the top prize together and were awarded the title of secretary, provincial school bookkeeper, Xian Zongyuan and the first year (AD 806). They should have both knowledge and insight in the physical education examination, ranking first and being awarded the left supplement. During this period, he often wrote letters to discuss current politics, and five months later, he was demoted to Henan county magistrate. Then I mourned for my mother for three years. In the fourth year of Yuanhe (AD 809), Yuan Zhen was promoted by Prime Minister Pei Du. At the age of thirty-one, he remonstrated and sent envoys to investigate the folk customs in Jianchuan, Jiannan. Yuan Zhen's first task was to investigate and deal with the corruption case of Luzhou prison. He hated the enemy, did not avoid the powerful, impeached the government officials there, and rehabilitated the eighteen unjust cases at that time in one fell swoop. His good friend Bai Juyi recorded in his poem that "eighteen families in Dongchuan were wronged and angry." When investigating the cases of severe autocracy in our time, I met the famous poetess Xue Tao, 30-year-old Yuan Zhen, and later had a lingering "sister-brother" relationship with Xue Tao. Violate the law and beat the illegal officials, and offend the powerful officials in the official palace. Yuan Zhen was soon expelled from Beijing, but he didn't care too much, because at this time he believed that what he had done was right. What he didn't expect was that Wei Cong, his wife who was seriously ill, went through all kinds of hardships. Unexpectedly, she died in Jing 'anli Mansion, Chang 'an, on July 9th in the 4th year of Yuanhe (AD 809), at the age of 27. Yuan Zhen learned from this painful experience and wrote the most famous mourning poem "Three Sorrow and Five Thoughts" in the history of China's poetry, mourning for his wife. After Wei Cong's death, Yuan Zhen was deeply saddened. He felt infinite guilt for not letting his wife have a good life, and he was extremely sad for her leaving him too early. He drank all day to drown his sorrows, but when he woke up, he was even sadder. Sometimes it makes his friends who drink with him very sad. In a poem, Yuan Zhen wrote about the situation after waking up from drinking: "Strange people cry after waking up from drinking, and always ask you the wrong questions when they are drunk." It means that after waking up, I was confused to see the person I was with crying. I won't know until I ask. When I am drunk, I always keep asking my dead wife.

Just as Yuan Zhen himself said, "This is a sorrow that all mankind should know, but it is not like people who have been poor together." In the seven years that they lived together with Wei Cong, they shared joys and sorrows. Although material life is not good, sincere love makes poor life full of sunshine. Now that my wife is gone, how can I be rich in the future? After countless sleepless nights, infatuated Yuan Zhen wrote down his thoughts in the letter: I am sitting here alone, mourning for both of us. How long has it been for more than 100 years? There is someone better than me, and heaven rejected a son. Pan Yue's mourning is especially expensive. Even if you can bury it, you can't tell a passion. What an illusory hope the fetters of the afterlife are. It's been a long night, and your brow is a lifelong worry. "Five-character Poetry Self-reflection" used to be difficult for water, and it will always be amber. Hurried through the flowers, lazy to look back; This reason is partly because of the ascetic monk, and partly because of who you used to be. This is a poem by the poet in memory of his dead wife Wei Cong. He praised the love of husband and wife and expressed his loyalty and nostalgia for his wife with the metaphor of "expressing affection through things" and warning words. The first two sentences of the poem "Once the sea is difficult for water, it will always be amber" were changed from "He who looks at the sea is difficult to find water, and he who swims at the gate of saints is difficult to find words" in Mencius, which means that the feelings between husband and wife are like the water in the sea and the clouds in Wushan, which are profound and beautiful, chinese odyssey. "It's hard for water" and "it's not a cloud", which is of course Yuan Zhen's favorite thing to say to his wife, but the relationship between husband and wife like them is really rare. After experiencing the magnificence of the sea, you won't be attracted by the water from other places. I am intoxicated in Wushan's dream of sex rain, and the scenery elsewhere is not called sex rain. Although I often walk through the flowers, I have no intention of enjoying them, partly because I was a monk and partly because I only have you in my heart ... This further explanation is. Obsessed with the ocean you love and intoxicated with your dreams, I will no longer be interested in other women. No one can love you as much as you do. You are the best. After you left, no one could replace you. No matter how beautiful other women are, I can't bear to love them, because there is only one you in my heart ... The author compares his dead wife and his feelings for her to the most beautiful sea and Wushan cloud as a goddess. In contrast, any water or cloud is dark and pale. It is precisely because of his deep nostalgia for his dead wife that he turned a blind eye to other women (taking flowers as a metaphor), and even when he saw them, he was cold and tired. Needless to say, there will be lingering love. In this poem, the poet uses things to express his feelings, and the method of expressing his thoughts is extremely ingenious and rich in meaning. It is a rare masterpiece, and it is really not easy to write this realm. This quatrain by Yuan Zhen is not only highly figurative and lyrical, but also excellent in writing. The first two sentences are written in extreme metaphors to remember and mourn. The words "the sea" and "five clouds" are magnificent, and there is a great trend of lamenting the rivers. The last two sentences of "lazy comment" and "half-assed gentleman" suddenly eased the language situation and turned into profound lyricism. The whole article is easy and changeable, forming a ups and downs melody. As far as the artistic conception of the whole poem is concerned, it is romantic but not vulgar, magnificent but not flashy, tragic and not deep, which creates the realm of absolute victory in the quatrains of mourning in the Tang Dynasty. In particular, "once the sea was difficult for water, it was amber forever." The two sentences that have been recited by people are not only good sentences in Yuan Zhen's poems, but also poems about love are rarely compared with Tang poetry and Song poetry. This marriage was not only squeezed by the political and social environment, but also influenced by the duality of the literati at that time, and was also bound by the "parents' orders, the words of the matchmaker" and the abundance of children. There are two sentences in Yuan Zhen's three mourning poems: "Heaven never shuts one door but man never shuts another; There is a poet who is better than me. His dead wife can't hear his voice. " The poet quoted two allusions, "Deng You" and "Pan Yue", lamenting that a woman like Wei Cong had no children. In October of the 4th year of Yuanhe, Yuan Zhen was buried for Wei Congying, in Zuyu of Yuanshi County, and on October 13th. When his wife was buried, Yuan Zhen did not attend the funeral in person. Bai Juyi's Answer to Trilogy and Answer to Ride into the Empty Station recorded that "you enter the empty station and return at dusk. I went to the spring platform and the spring door didn't reopen. The widower is still in his post, but the girl has not been mourned. Lonely Xianyang Road, home to the tomb. " I also said this in Yuan Zhen's Pipa Song the following year: "Last year, the imperial censor stayed in Dongtai, and it was difficult for public and private affairs to meet." It can be seen that when Webster was buried in Xianyang, Yuan Zhen did not go. Throughout the marriage between Yuan Zhen and the Wei family, their official career has been promoted, and the Wei family has contributed a lot. Sadly, when Wei Cong died, Yuan Zhen didn't attend the funeral because he suggested staying in Dongtai last year. You can imagine how lonely and sad Wei Cong's lonely soul would be if he didn't see Yuan Zhen in Xianyang.
