Xue Tao's specific birth and death, can't exact textual research. She died in Tang Wenzong in the sixth year of Daiwa (AD 832). As for the birthplace of Xue Tao, it is also controversial, but the most likely one is from Chengdu.

When my father saw that the plane tree was tall and straight, and its branches were luxuriant, he casually read two sentences: "The court disappears an ancient plane tree and shrugs into the clouds." As soon as the voice just fell, Xue Tao replied: "The branches welcome the birds north and south, and the leaves supply air."
His father looked at little Xue Tao in surprise. The child has a quick mind and can cope with it freely. He was born with a gift for poetry and talent!
However, Xue Tao's father died soon, and he became a widow and lived a poor life. And the dragon, "looks pretty, tone is also very good. There is a reward between words and jokes. "
When Xue Tao was sixteen years old, due to his poor family, he had to go to the Weigao shogunate in western Sichuan as a musician, that is, an official prostitute. At this point, Xue Tao, who has Lingyun's unique talent, can't escape from his humble identity and destiny.
Xue Tao is eloquent, agile, eloquent, charming and elegant, and began to spread among dignitaries and poets, winning the favor and appreciation of Wei Gao. Therefore, he gained the status of the advisor of the poet's friends, helped him to participate in the government affairs of Xichuan, and made the title of the poem longer, which made the great poets at that time admire Bai Juyi, Wang Jian, Yuan Zhen, Liu Yuxi and others.
Wei Gao of our time relies on her talent and marvels at her literary talent. At a banquet, Xue Tao, at the request of Wei Gao, wrote "A Tour of Wushan Temple":
Visit Gaotang in the land where apes cry, and all the way is fragrant with smoke.
The mountains have not forgotten Song Yu, and the sound of water makes you cry.
In the morning and evening, under the balcony, it rains and rains, and the State of Chu dies.
There are many willows in front of the temple, and the thrush comes to the sky in spring.
A humble woman, so full of patriotic feelings in her poems, almost has no smell of coquettish powder, which surprises everyone. Wei Gao was so happy that he couldn't help blurting out a sentence "Schoolboy" for her in public. Although Xue Tao didn't really take office, it spread and caused a sensation in Bashu.
Xue Tao wrote more than 500 poems, but less than one-fifth of them have been handed down. His poems are beautiful but not kitsch, and there is no lack of advice.
As a poetess who has fallen into the dust, she associates with high-ranking poets every day, but she can't get true love, knowing that "his family is a heartless thing, and everyone flies south and north."
Xue Tao, eager for pure love, wrote four chapters of "Looking at Spring" to express his inner sadness:
Flowers bloom differently, and flowers fall differently.
Ask acacia, when flowers bloom and fall.
Take care of the grass, unite as one, and send friends.
Spring sorrow is broken, and spring birds mourn again.
The wind and flowers will grow old, and the courtesy will return.
If you are not United, you will be United.
That can be full of flowers and translated into two kinds of acacia.

Even if the amorous feelings remain the same, Xu Niang is still beautiful, and nothing is likely to happen. Yuan Zhen, who is also famous for her poems, naturally admires Xue Tao, the first female poet in the world. In Sichuan, it is normal for two people to have contacts.
