In 1985, he organized "their literary society" and edited 1-5 issue of "They", which was considered as the most important representative of the "third generation poetry" and formed their poetry group which had an important influence on the third generation poetry group. The poets in their poetry group believe that "poetry ends with language" and emphasize the importance of oral writing. Their works have played a positive role in promoting the development of China's modern poetry.
