Chen Mengjia (1911-1966), who once used the pen name Chen Manzai, was a modern Chinese paleographer, archaeologist and poet, a native of Shangyu, Zhejiang, and a representative of the Crescent School. Poet, born in Nanjing in 1911, published his first work "The Dream Collection of Poems" in 1931.
In the autumn of 1944, he went to the United States to give lectures at the University of Chicago. He returned to China in 1947 and continued to teach at Tsinghua University. He was persecuted and committed suicide in 1966. He is the author of poetry collections "Mengjia Poetry Collection", "Spring Without Flowers", "Iron Horse Collection", "On the Front Line", "Mengjia Poetry Collection", etc.
