Explore the relationship between Wang Bo's Tengwangge and Preface to Tengwangge.

Wang Bo's Wang Teng Ge is a poem in the Preface to Wang Teng Ge.

Preface to Tengwangge is not a preface specially written for Tengwangge's poems, but a preface to a collection of poems. This collection of poems was written by scholars who came here for a party.

At the end of the preface to Wang Teng-ting, there is a saying in front of the poem Wang Teng-ting, "Dare to be sincere, courteous and short-quoted. All the words were given, and all four rhymes were done. Please sprinkle Pan Jiang and pour clouds on all sides. ". It means modestly, I'll write an ugly song first to attract jade, and everyone will write it.

Wang Bo's Preface to Tengwang Pavilion is a well-known masterpiece, but its nature has been misunderstood repeatedly. For example, it is easy to be considered as the preface of his own poem "Teng Wang Ge". Actually, it's very different. Its original title is Preface to the Autumn Pavilion, which is the so-called "Farewell Preface"-Tang people are used to writing poems when leaving, and there are often words when leaving, so this farewell preface often has both the nature of poetic preface and the content of parting words.

As the preface of poetry, Wang Bo's Preface to Wang Tengting is the preface of many works, not just his own poems. Scholar-officials get together, and everyone writes poems and forms small collections, which is a tradition since Jin people's Shi Chong Jingu Collection and Wang Xizhi's Lanting Collection. This ethos was particularly prevalent in the Tang Dynasty, when scholars gathered and left, and there were often poems. At that time, Gong Yan, the secretariat of Hongzhou, gave a big banquet in Tengwangge. He arranged for his son-in-law Meng to write a preface in advance so that he could shine in front of everyone. But because the famous young talent Mr. Wang Bo attended the meeting-Wang Bo's father moved to the left to be the magistrate of Jiaozhou, and Wang Bo escorted him to his post, passing through Hongzhou, and then asked him to write. This was originally just a courtesy, but Wang Bo was not humble. "I am happy to fuck guests, and in an instant, I don't say anything, and the room is full of surprises" (at the end of Ge Xu, there are a few words: "Parting words, Xie Weiwei;" Climbing high to make a contribution is to hope the public. Dare to exhaust feelings, be respectful and short-quoted; All the words were given, and all four rhymes were done. Please sprinkle Pan Jiang, and every one of you will fall into the sea. "The last few words mean that before you write a poem, I will write such a short preface ("respectful, sparse and not leaking "); Please write a poem according to the rhyme represented by a word. Let's show your talent. As the saying goes, "The land (machine) is like the sea, and Pan (Yue) is like the river" (Zhong Rong's "On the Golden Gate of Poetry"), saying "Please sprinkle Pan Jiang and pour your land and sea" here is nothing more than a very polite tribute to the gentlemen present. Preface to Wang Teng Pavilion is the preface of a batch of works to be published soon. Of course, Wang Bo must write one himself, and now he will put it at the back of this order.

"All words are given, and all four rhymes are achieved" means that everyone writes a poem with four rhymes and eight sentences according to the prescribed rhyme. Wang Bo wrote another preface to the courtyards of four families in Jingzhou in autumn, and finally wrote: "It's hard to have fun again, and the banquet in Beihai is diligent; When we met, we were disappointed with the road in the south. Please write well, * * * remember to do well, and people give a word, which has become four rhymes. " It means exactly the same thing.

At the same time, "Preface to Wang Teng Pavilion" has the meaning of leaving a message after the banquet. So it said, "Alas, the resort is not diligent, so it is difficult to have a big banquet. Lanting has passed away, Qi Ze Xu Qiu "; He also said: "Farewell words, thank you Wei Wei." Farewell was very popular in the Tang Dynasty. There are many prefaces in Wen Yuan Hua Ying, a large literary collection edited by Song people, which are subdivided into Preface to Selected Works, Preface to Banquet Collection, Preface to Poetry Collection and Preface to Farewell. There are sixteen volumes (765438 volumes +08 volumes).

At the farewell party, everyone wrote poems. Of course, this aspect should be mentioned in the farewell preface, so that it has the nature of poetic preface, which is quite different from the preface written specifically for one's own poem. We must attach great importance to these differences.
