② People don't stand on the wall for Nan Zhou and Zhao Nan? ("The Analects of Confucius Yang Huo")
(3) "Reciting 300 Poems, teaching them as politics, is unattainable; I can't be specific about it in all directions. Although there are many, what do you think? " (The Analects of Confucius. Lutz).
(4) "If you don't learn poetry, you have nothing to say." (The Analects of Confucius. Ji's ")
(5) "Poetry can arouse, observe, group and resent. Your father is the most important, and your father is the most important. " (The Analects of Yang Huo)
There is no doubt that the first and second articles are about self-cultivation. Zhu believes that The Book of Songs has the function of stimulating people's moral consciousness, because it is the presentation of human nature. The cultivation of self-cultivation mentioned by Confucius here is his own educational program, and of course it is also the basic principle followed by his teaching practice.
The third and fourth points are about the political function of poetry. Confucius' affirmation of the function of "speaking" or "specialization" of poetry was the product of the great cultural and historical context at that time and had certain inevitability. Because in his time, it is a very common phenomenon to skillfully use poetry to express ideas, and it is also a symbol of aristocratic status in a sense, so he can't help but affirm this role to some extent.
Article 5 shows that Confucius' literary thoughts serve politics. In addition to prosperity, prospect, group and resentment are all social functions of poetry. View is to observe the folk customs, the group can educate people, and resentment is a personal satire on state affairs. Society needs cooperation, which seems to be lacking in Confucius and Mencius' thought. And their thoughts are all "Chun Xue", which can only be used by thinkers in the upper class.
