The Musical Form of Bran's Poetry

The lyrics of Bran's song come from an isolated monastery in Germany, mostly from unknown poems left by vagrants in the past. In an unrestrained environment, it is most likely to vent the repressed natural feelings of Europeans in the Middle Ages. The composer Orff captured the rhythm of the soul in his poems and wrote it into an immortal masterpiece of vocal music. The band played a string of church bells, the children's choir sang the sounds of nature, the soprano showed a beautiful voice, the timbre of the lyric tenor was as pure as silver, and the voice-changing tenor inserted from time to time was both humorous and enchanting. There is no complicated melody from beginning to end, only simple notes and bright rhythm. (Respondent: Sakda)
