Arbor Day is a festival to publicize and protect trees according to law, and to organize and mobilize the masses to actively participate in afforestation. According to the length of time, it can be divided into Arbor Day, Tree Planting Week and Tree Planting Month, and * * * is called International Arbor Day. Its purpose is to stimulate people's enthusiasm for afforestation and enhance environmental awareness. On July 1 2020, the newly revised Forest Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) came into effect, and March 12 is designated as Arbor Day every year. Afforestation can not only green and beautify homes, but also play a role in expanding forest resources, preventing soil erosion, protecting farmland, regulating climate and promoting economic development. This is a grand project for the benefit of present and future generations.
