During the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, some frontier poems appeared, and the number increased continuously in Sui Dynasty. In the early Tang Dynasty, Sijie and Chen Ziang further developed it and reached full maturity in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Gao Shi, Cen Can, Li Qi and Wang Changling are the most famous poets in this school, while Gao Cen has the highest achievement, so he is also called Gao Cen Poetry School. Their poems mainly describe the customs of the frontier and the contradictions brought about by the war, such as parting, homesickness, in my heart forever and so on.
2. Landscape pastoral school: Landscape pastoral school is a school of poetry whose main content is to reflect pastoral life and depict landscapes. Landscape pastoral poetry originated from Tao Yuanming in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Wang Wei in Tang Dynasty, Meng Haoran and Fan Chengda in Song Dynasty are good at describing natural scenery, rural scenery and quiet seclusion. The pastoral school in the Tang Dynasty has always influenced later generations. It started with Xie Lingyun in the Southern Song Dynasty, and then went to Xie Tiao in the Southern Qi Dynasty, known as "Big and Small Xie". Wang Wei and Meng Haoran inherited the tradition of landscape poetry in the Six Dynasties and developed their artistic skills.
3. Graceful school: Graceful school is a school of China's Song Ci, which is euphemistic and implicit. Its main characteristics are that the content focuses on children's amorous feelings, the structure is profound and meticulous, the melody is euphemistic and harmonious, the language is round and beautiful, and there is a kind of femininity. The representatives of graceful and restrained school are Liu Yong, Zhang Xian, Yan Shu, Yan, Ouyang Xiu, Qin Guan, He Zhu, Zhou Bangyan, Li Qingzhao and Li Yu.
