Wang ling
In March, the residual flowers bloom even more, and the small eaves swallow day by day.
Zi Gui still cries blood in the middle of the night, so he doesn't believe that the east wind can't call him back.
Wang Ling (1032- 1059), the word is beautiful, and then changed to the original word. Originally from Yuan Cheng (now Daming, Hebei), he moved to Guangling (now Yangzhou, Jiangsu). Poetry has a high reputation without seeking official advancement. Wang Anshi appreciated him very much and married his wife and sister. His poems are knowledgeable, imaginative and vigorous. Sikuquanshu contains 30 volumes of Guangling Collection and 1 Addendum, and Quan Song's Poetry Collection contains 19 volumes of his poems.
For "Spring Hatred", see Volume 15 of Guangling Collection. Some anthologies, including Poems of a Thousand Families, changed the title of the poem to Send Spring, but it is obviously inappropriate to change the title of the poem to Send Spring, because it is written in the poem Zigui Crying for Spring.
The first two sentences are about the vibrant late spring scenery. The first sentence says that flowers fall and bloom again, trying to prove that spring has always been there. Swallows fly every day on the low eaves, which seems to indicate that spring will remain. Both poems are full of life.
Writing the last two sentences in anthropomorphic rhetoric calls for rejuvenation. Three sentences about writing rules have been called until midnight, and even my mouth is bleeding. "Zigui" is the cuckoo, which is characterized by crying at night in March and April, sad voice and bloody kiss. It can be seen that this poem is very in line with seasons and legends. So why did the cuckoo cry until midnight? The poet had a whim in the last sentence, saying that they were going to call spring back. He didn't believe that spring could not be called back. As mentioned earlier, "East Wind" is spring breeze, which means spring.
This poem also embodies the uniqueness of Wang Ling's poems. Speaking of late spring, it is inevitable that there is a feeling of hurting spring in poetry, but the late spring written by Wang Ling is full of vitality. Poems written by Zi Gui in the middle of the night usually express sad feelings. Only this poem is unconventional and injects the author's feelings of loving late spring and hoping to make a difference.
