"Shangguanti" is the first poetic title named after an individual in the history of Tang poetry. Refers to the court poems represented by Shangguan Yi in Longshuo period of Tang Gaozong. The theme is mainly to serve harmony, respond to the system and chant things, with vague content, paying attention to the formal skills of poetry and pursuing the beauty of poetry.
origin
In the 14th year of the Great Cause of the Sui Dynasty (6 18), Yu Wenhuaji, a general in the left position of the Sui Dynasty, launched a rebellion in Yangzhou, killing Yang Di, the emperor of the Sui Dynasty, and Shangguan Hong, Shangguan Yi's father and deputy supervisor of Jiangdu Palace, was killed by his henchmen Chen Ling. Shangguan Yi was young, but he survived.
In the early years of Zhenguan, he became a scholar, was called to Hong Wen Pavilion to study for a bachelor's degree, and was transferred to the secretarial office. Tang Gaozong was highly praised by Tang Gaozong and Wu Zetian when he was working in this province. In the second year of Longshuo (AD 662), he became prime minister.
Because Tang Gaozong was dissatisfied with the overbearing attitude of Wu Hou, Shangguan Yi suggested to the emperor to abolish it. The emperor agreed, and Shangguan Yi drafted a letter. Wu Hou sobbed and invited Chen, and then he made a mistake. From then on, Shangguan Yi was hated by Wu Hou.
In the first year of Linde (AD 664), Shangguan Yi was executed, his property was confiscated, and his son Shangguan Tingzhi was also executed. After Tang Zhongzong acceded to the throne, because the daughter of Shangguan Ting, Shangguan Waner, was Zhao Rong, Shangguan Yi and his son were posthumously awarded, and Xiu Xiang Lingyange was named the King of Chu.
Because he grew up in a temple in the south, influenced by the culture of the Southern Dynasties and palace poems, his writing style was "colorful". He is good at five words, rules and regulations, and his content is mostly tailor-made works, singing praises, whitewashing peace and pursuing formality in form. Gorgeous words, charming mistakes. Because of its prominent position, many people imitate it, which is called Shangguan style internationally.
