Between Jingkou Guazhou and Zhongshan there are only a few mountains.

The spring breeze is green again on the south bank of the river. When will the bright moon shine on me again?

Translation

There is only the Yangtze River between Jingkou and Guazhou, and there are only a few mountains between Jingkou and Zhongshan. The spring breeze is blowing green on both sides of the Yangtze River again. When will the bright moon shine on me back to my hometown?

2. Author of "Autumn Thoughts": Zhang Ji

When I see the autumn wind in Luoyang City, I want to write a book full of ideas.

I’m afraid I can’t say it all in a hurry, and the travelers have to open it again before leaving.

Translation

The annual autumn wind blows into the city of Luoyang again, urging me to write a letter home to communicate all my thoughts to my relatives. The messenger was about to leave, so I opened the sealed envelope again and hurriedly added a few words. I couldn't express my thoughts, but it was too hasty.

3. Author of "Long Acacia": Nalan Xingde (Qing Dynasty poet)

Mountains are a journey, water is a journey, walking towards the bank of Yuguan, the night is deep Tent lamp.

The wind is blowing, the snow is blowing, my hometown is shattered, my dreams are gone, and there is no such sound in my hometown.

Translation

My army went to Liaodong for inspection, and the accompanying thousands of troops marched all the way through mountains and rivers, marching towards Shanhaiguan in a mighty manner. At night, the lights in the camp are brilliant and magnificent. It was late at night, the wind and snow were blowing outside the tent, and the sound of gusts of wind and snow made it impossible to sleep. The author is homesick and lonely, and can't help but feel resentful: Why are there no such disturbing sounds in his hometown?
