This feeling can be described as follows: Li Bai walked slowly from the fog and experienced the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. Although he was not successful in his official career, he wrote magnificent poems. When the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty declined, Li Bai disappeared into the fog again.
The world always wants to get a glimpse of this fog, so they read all kinds of historical materials to study these mysteries left by Li Bai, and the mystery of his life experience is the most attractive to study. Such a great poet must have a distinguished life experience to match it. So is Li Bai's life story outstanding? Of course it is outstanding.
The official Book of the New Tang Dynasty records that Li Bai is the ninth grandson of Sheng Xing. This record naturally refers to the relevant records in the Tang Dynasty, one is the preface to the collection of thatched cottage by uncle Li of Li Bai nationality, and the other is the preface to Li Tombstone by academician Fan in the Tang Dynasty. These two articles are important historical materials for studying Li Bai, and we will call them Xu Li and Xu Fan later.
After the Anshi Rebellion, Li Bai was imprisoned by Tang Suzong for taking refuge in Wang Yong Lilin. Although it was later released, it was no longer reused. In his later years, Li Bai took refuge in his uncle Li, and when he was seriously ill, he gave his works to Li for editing. This is "Caotang Collection", and Li He prefaces it. Li should be said to know Li Bai's life best.
Li Bai had a deep friendship with the Fan family, so in 8 17, Fan and dangtu county ordered Li Bais Tomb to be moved from Longshan to Qingshan, and prefaced the tombstone of Li, an academician of Tang Zuo. Although Fan's understanding of Li Bai is not as good as Li's, it is not less.
Therefore, Xu Li and Xu Fan are the first-hand materials for later generations to study Li Bai. In these two articles, what recorded Li Bai's life experience? Longxi became a disciplined person, and Liang was the grandson of IX. ?
Wu Liangzhao and Wang Ligui were the founders of Xiliang regime in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. In the second year of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, Tianbao was conferred the title of Emperor Sheng Xing by Li Longji. Why is Li Longji so admired? The reason is that the royal family of Li Tang claims to be the queen of Gui Li.
According to the Book of Two Tang Dynasties, Li Yuan claimed to be the seventh grandson of Li Yong. According to this record, Li Bai should be on an equal footing with Li Zhi. However, although recorded in the official history, many people now believe that Li Yong was not the ancestor of Li Yuan, and the only definite clue is Li Hu, the grandfather of Li Yuan.
So when can Bai's ancestors be traced back to be admitted? It's also hard. According to the records of Xu Li and Xu Fan, Li Bai's ancestors were dignitaries and suffered a fatal blow at the end of Sui Dynasty. As for whether he committed a big crime or was framed for a big crime, he didn't say a word. Only from then on, Li Bai's ancestors fled to the broken leaf city in the western regions and remained anonymous until Li Bai's father Li Ke's time. Moreover, a great poet like Li Bai was born in those years.
Combining the obscure records of Xu Li and Xu Fan, and considering the world trend in the late Sui and early Tang Dynasties, there seems to be an answer to be vividly portrayed, and that is the change of Xuanwu Gate. Therefore, many people have come to an amazing conclusion through various textual research, that is, Li Bai is Li's great-grandson and a hidden prince.
So, has Li been handed down from generation to generation? At least there is no official history. After the change of Xuanwu Gate, Li's five sons and Li Yuanji's five sons were killed in order to get rid of weeds. However, Li actually had six sons, among whom Li Chengzong, the eldest son, died early, that is to say, he died before the Xuanwumen Rebellion. What do you mean? An early death probably means that you died before you got married and had children.
But later generations think that Li Chengzong has children, which is probably impossible. Assuming that Li Chengzong really has children, how can Li Can Shimin keep him alive? You know, according to the inheritance system, Li Chengzong's eldest son is superior to his second son and his sons behind him. Even if Li Chengzong's eldest son is too young, he will grow up. Li's other five sons were killed, so how can he keep his eldest son Li, even Shu's eldest son?
What if Li Shimin doesn't even know this child exists? It's impossible. Li Chengzong died early, long before the change of Xuanwu Gate. If his wife is pregnant and has a child, it is impossible for Li Shimin not to know. Once you know, you can't get rid of it.
So Li Bai can't be Li's great-grandson, at least so far there is no evidence that Li Bai will be a descendant of Li. According to historical records, Gui Li's ninth grandson, Li Bai, should be called Gui Li's eighth grandson.
