Gerelqimuge·Heihe, Mongolian, is a young writer loved by readers.
Accompanied by two rare milk-white wolfdogs, he spent his childhood at the junction of grassland and countryside. His works mostly involve grassland and animal themes.
My experience is simple, studying, working, and writing. In 1996, his first novella recalling life on the grassland won the Bing Xin Award. His works were included in "China's Best Children's Literature" in 2000 and 2001 and "China's Outstanding Animal Novels" by Taiwan Minsheng Publishing House. His poems won the 2nd Banyan Tree Poetry Award. A collection of animal novels "Old Class Brothers" was published in Taiwan. Won the 2003 "Good Books Everyone Reads" Award for Best Children's Book of the Year.
Winner of the silver medal in the first "Children's Literature" Novel Competition. His award-winning work "Feeding the Wolf" has been included in this book.

Gerelqimuge·Heihe, Mongolian. He spent his childhood in the grass with two cream-colored wolfhounds. What appears most in his works is firstly grass, secondly grassland, thirdly grassland, and then, animals. Heihe's works have won the 15th Bing Xin Children's Literature New Work Award and the Poetry Award under the Banyan Tree. He has published "Old Class Brothers" (Taiwan), "Return to the Grassland", and "Old Class Brothers", which won the annual best children's book award from Taiwan's "Good Books Everyone Reads" and was recommended as "Excellent Extracurricular Readings for Primary and Secondary Schools". Heihe now lives in Heilongjiang and owns two Vizsla hounds. Heihe travels alone in the vast forests and grasslands of the north for at least one to two months every year. His on-the-spot observations and personal experiences of wild animals make the "Animal Kingdom" he created an extraordinary charm.
