Ceng Zhuo's A Gift
When the poet wrote this poem, he had been separated from his lover for six years. Although they are in the same city, they have lost contact with each other. This is not an ordinary parting, but a parting full of wind and rain, mud, loneliness, bitterness and grief. Bear the heavy burden of both psychological pressure and political pressure. As a politically isolated person, the poet sighed deeply at the beginning and drew a silhouette for the returning prisoner: "I am a traveler from the emotional desert/I am hungry, tired and sleepy." In this situation, the poet feels that looking at the light in front of his lover's window from a distance is like a "lamp of life".
