Qiao Rui Palov is a professor of humanities at Stanford University, a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the president of the American Modern Language Association in 2006. Professor Palov is one of the most important critics of American modernist poetry and contemporary poetry. Mainly devoted to the research of avant-garde experimental poetry, and the relationship between avant-garde poetry and modernist movements in various artistic fields (including visual art and cultural theory), especially the main ideological trend of post-modern movement.
