Selected Poems by Hugo The Sorrow of Olympia

The Sorrow of Olympio

Hugo (France)

When the soul is broken and the heart is broken, our thoughts

Often I open my injured wings and try my best to fly, but in the blink of an eye I suddenly fall into the mud again.

Because no one in this world can end this dream,

The dregs of mankind are similar to the essence of mankind;

We all wake up in the same place in the dream.

Everything starts here and ends in another world.

When we are like a pair of ghosts falling into deep thought

Both fell asleep in the embrace of the cemetery;

Are you really so indifferent?

p>

Your mysterious feelings for a friend you reunited after a long separation?

Seeing our ghosts follow the footsteps of the old traveler,

Seeing her and I hugging each other sadly,

leading me to those tears Tears and sobbing springs,

Do you really have no sorrow or sighs!

God only temporarily lent us grassland, clear springs,

deep and gray rocks, rustling woods,

blue sky, clear Lakes and vast plains,

For our hearts, our dreams, our love!

Soon he took it all back. He blows out our red candles.

He let the night cover the caves that we once illuminated;

He also asked the valleys that our hearts remember to

erase our footprints and erase our footprints. Our names are forgotten.

Here we held hands and let the tears flow!

All desires will disappear with the passage of time,

Our souls follow a dark slope

Stepping lightly to the desolate end of the inner abyss ;

In the long dark night without any starlight,

Our souls felt from the abyss where everything seems to be destroyed

There is still a heart that is still there Beating under the night...

This is you, the sacred memory that lives forever in the darkness!
